Poweplay looks okay idk. McKenna isn’t having a big impact. Bobrovsky looks slow but serviceable. Stupid penalties being taken and a lack of intensity across the board. Sloppy game, leafs have hit lots of posts too. Could’ve gone either way. #Leafs

RE Leafs: game 1 was a solid start to the season though the team did not get the result they wanted. I have a list of positives and some negatives to list but I’ll start with the positives first 1/5

Negatives: - McKenna was largely unnoticeable. - Missing Knies and Joshua’s physicality. - Need a more physically imposing defenceman than McCabe can be. - Raddysh did not have a good game. Lots of turnovers and lackluster play on the powerplay. 4/5

Final Thoughts: Even though they lost there was a lot more positives than negatives however the bad areas were very noticeable. Can only hope they are areas and things that can be cleaned up it is only game 1 after all. Back at it again tonight 7:30 pm at home vs the Islanders.
