Sources: New Jersey and Winnipeg are working on a Connor Hellebuyck deal. We will see what develops.

Okay, twist in the plot. Connor Hellebuyck trade talks are escalating it could go down today. Busy day developing. Stay tuned.

We need OT in Edmonton. The #Canes and Oilers are tied at 5-5. Both teams are 1-1 in the extra session this season.

The two things the Canes couldn't do in the third period was take risks when McDavid/Draisaitl were on the ice and take penalties. It took them less than three minutes to do both and now we have a tied game.

Here's the scoop on Skyler Brind'Amour, who we were told wouldn't play this morning... He made it to Edmonton, but his gear initially did not, and the thought was that it might not arrive by game time. As it turns out, at least some of it did, and as a result, he's in.

It's a rare post-win practice day for the #Canes in Edmonton, and there are a few important updates to share. First, Seth Jarvis is a full participant and is working as part of a line with Jordan Martinook and Jesperi Kotkaniemi. He said he wanted to get in another skate before making his season debut, and this certainly looks like it could be that. We'll see what Rod Brind'Amour says following the skate. Jarvis' impending return has caused a few other changes among the forwards, notably with Martinook moving back to the wing and Felix Unger Sörum to the middle. Bradly Nadeau is not skating. Carrier - Aho - Svechnikov Ehlers - Stankoven - Blake Martinook - Kotkaniemi - Jarvis Robinson - Unger Sörum - Deslauriers Slavin - Chatfield Miller - Walker Gostisbehere - Välimäki Reilly Bussi | Kochetkov

City of Oaks, I believe

I mean, what is himself? Honestly, all of his stints in the NHL have been mediocre. Scoring in the AHL isn't scoring and contributing in the NHL.

with the #HometownRemix reveal just around the corner, here’s what we know so far... (nothing official, just what I’ve cobbled together)

Hurricanes forward Mark Jankowski (lower body) will miss tonight’s game against Calgary.

HAHAHHAHAHAHHAHAHA what an insane statement. Tulsky would talk on glass shards to trade Slavin for Schaefer, Seider, Hutson or Sanderson.

THAT'S SEVEN #CANES WINS IN A ROWWWWWWW
