Brands, it is NEVER OK to leverage tragedy to sell your product. A beauty brand has just emailed "A message of care", referenced the "heartbreaking crises" followed by a sales push around "noticing visibly more stressed skin, we are here to help". Appalled.
Update: they attempted an apology but got it horribly wrong, explaining "when you feel low and at a loss with your skin, on top of everything else, it can all feel a bit too much sometimes". I despair.

I am incredibly excited to announce, we are hiring our first full-time role at Amphora: Head of Paid Social.
We've had a brilliant year so far, growing each month, but have some pretty ambitious plans.
I created Amphora with two intentions:
(1) to build the agency I always wanted to hire both as a founder and head of growth, and
(2) to build the first household name growth agency.
Our first core service offering is paid social. It's the problem that affects almost every consumer startup in the world. It's easy to say post-iOS14, that job has become harder. I see it as more opportunity than there's been since the early days.
This role will be a leadership role, helping define and shape how we approach paid social. But it's also a new business, so you'll need to get stuck in day-to-day as well (besides, if you're anything like me, checking Ads Manager is just a part of your day like eating).

Hi @lambeth_council you’ve allowed one of your flats to leak for 5 weeks now two floors down in to my property - you have twice promised to send a plumber and twice failed. Ceiling now beginning to bulge (not visible here). Is this safe? At a loss at what to do.
