Homemade lamb shoulder shawarma (with extra potatoes thrown in the roasting tin..) Now tried both @Samitamimi's shawarma recipes - first in 'Jerusalem', and this one in 'Falastin' - and both are fabulous! 🥙

Ka’ak al-Quds from @Samitamimi and Tara Wigley’s #falastincookbook. I adapted the recipe for sourdough instead of yeast, and it worked really well! 50/50 whole grain Red Fife and red spring wheat
