Grief, a shaken career, and a year that did not go to plan. Resilience sometimes starts by going back to the books, routines, and habits that once made you feel strong. #Resilience #MentalHealth #AI

You can wish someone well and still protect your space. “I want you to eat, just not at my table” is a clean boundary for toxic relationships.

There has never been a greater time to use and train your brain. Do things, investigate things, make things, be proud of what You did. If there are struggles, face them, adapt, overcome, be human

I tbink people assume that running around all over the place, doing keynotes, attending events and working with customers is super fun... which it is... but in-between getting on stage as a tech evangelist, there are calls to be had and problems to be solved. And its not all hotels and glam, it's... find a power outlet somewhere so I can charge up my stuff and be present for my customers. This call was about managing integration patterns and when to use certain tools in Microdoft Fabric. Getting this right is important! And 5 min after this call I was in stage talking about adoption of Ai in organisations and how organisation culture needs to change. And 5 min after that I was on a call with another org talking power platform adoption. And right off the back of that, im talking to another org about technical AI strategy! Context switching all the time is hard... and I am lucky enough to be able to multithread in this way. You see all the fun shirts and pics on stage but what you may not see is the real work that goes on behind all.of this. Next week I'll be at ignite on san fran... and inwill be on call at 2am to make sure I am.present for the folks I work with! And ... I love every moment of it. #TechEvangelism #TheGlamLife

“Like you do in business, I come up with 3 outcomes: -What if everything goes exactly right -What if some things go wrong but they’re recoverable -What if the race doesn’t go the way I want.” Because I had already visualized all 3 of those outcomes and PREPARED for them and manifested the reality.” -THE Michael Phelps at #PPCC25

“The ONLY Olympics that I was 100% prepared for was 2016. I wanted to leave it all on the field and know there is nothing more I could have done. I could not have done this alone. Later in my career, I had to learn to ask for help. As a male athlete, this is incredible hard to do.” -THE Michael Phelps at #PPC25

AMAZING discussion with Michael Phelps... inlove learning from masters of their craft and this man is truly incredible. "It takes 2 days to get back to where you were if you miss 1"... things dont happen over night. And I totally agree with this!

“In swimming, if you take off one day, it takes you two days to get back to where you were. I took off zero days for 360 days …because no one else was doing it.” “Greatness is a bunch of small things done over-and-over together” THE Michael Phelps at #PPCC25 Okay so that explains beating world records and then beating his OWN recos and winning the most medals in Olympic history! 🥇🥇🥇🥇🥇

The importance of a coach who pushes you: “My coach broke my goggles so I had to learn to swim without them. Then in an Olympic race, my goggles filled up with water, and I had to swim it blind. I did that by counting strokes, 1-2-3-4 all the way to 40…because that’s how I’d done in it practice a million times.” -THE Michael Phelps at #PPCC
