BREAKING: Leaked texts show that Zach Lahn was so concerned about his LG pick Derek Wulf's legal problems that his campaign was apparently considering replacing him on the ticket with Bobby Kaufmann 3 days after the pick
ON THE SAME DAY, Lahn's campaign downplayed it publicly as "Derek is in the middle of a routine re-financing"

Crazy WSJ data. Between 2022 and 2025, wealth increased 37% for Americans 75 and older, while **decreased** 23% for people under 35.

Q: Do you both think raising the retirement age is decreasing Social Security benefits?
Iowa Republican Sen. candidate Ashley Hinson: If you're 20 years old, it's a very different conversation than if you're at retirement age
.@turek4iowa: I'm not in favor of raising the retirement age.

To every Iowan paying more at the pump, that’s because of Ashley Hinson.
To every farmer facing record diesel prices, that’s because of Ashley Hinson.
In the U.S. Senate, I will fight for Iowa and Iowans, not billionaires and large corporations.

Ashley Hinson voted five times to keep tariffs that drove up costs for Iowa farmers.
She voted seven times to keep the reckless war in Iran going while gas prices climbed.

Everywhere I go, I’m hearing Iowans say the same thing: They're struggling.
They’re struggling to keep food on the table, a roof above their heads, and gas in the tank because of this war in Iran that Ashley Hinson voted seven times to support.

Ashley Hinson has voted to continue the war in Iran seven times, and Iowans are paying the price for that decision.
Diesel is at an all-time high, fertilizer prices are skyrocketing, and fuel prices are increasing faster in Iowa than almost any other state.

I care deeply about all of my constituents, even those running for office two states away. My message to Kansan Zach Lahn:
My name is Sami Scheetz and I have the honor of serving on the Linn County Board of Supervisors. I am running for a full term to make sure that the county continues to grow responsibly, protects the social safety net, and ensures that Linn County is a place that families like my own choose to raise their kids.
I was born and raised in Cedar Rapids and would not be the man I am today without this community. I will always stand up for our residents and for working people as I have at the County and in the State Legislature. I would be honored to have your support on November 3.

This is it - our 100th town hall of 2026.
Proud of every community visited, question answered, and mile put on the truck because Iowans deserve a governor who will show up and actually listen.
Thank you, Polk County! #TownHallTour2026

Ashley Hinson is a corrupt, self-serving D.C. politician who has repeatedly shown that she is only looking out for herself, her donors, and special interests.
Hinson has sold out Iowans time and time again, voting to cut healthcare, food assistance, and Social Security – all while enriching herself and her billionaire friends and donors. She voted seven times to continue this reckless war in Iran and Iowans are paying for it at the pump. This clear pattern of corruption is disqualifying, and it’s exactly why Iowans are going to reject Ashley Hinson in 39 days.

One way @hinsonashley could stop the war with Iran and help families in Iowa is by voting for a war powers resolution that would actually end it. But instead, she votes with the Trump administration over and over again even when it hurts her own state.
Iowans are being squeezed and shouldn’t have to foot the bill at the pump or the checkout line for the war in Iran. We need to use every option at our disposal to provide some relief from high prices.
That includes suspending the gas tax, pausing diesel exports, unleashing E-15 everywhere we can, reinstating the $1/gallon biodiesel tax credit, and creating a diesel relief program to help our farmers and truckers being crushed by the high costs.
While doing this, we should also ensure our highway trust fund is replenished, so that Iowans don’t suffer from crumbling roads and bridges while relief comes our way now. These actions to lower costs are needed ASAP, and the war needs to be brought to a successful and immediate end.
I am working every day to deliver bipartisan results for Iowans and I will work with anyone who is ready to tackle this challenge immediately.
