Happy to finally get this out in Nature Chemistry: we use magnetic fields to shine light on singlet fission. @DMdeClercq1 @JialeF @MJYTayebjee @EkinsNed @LaserMikeN @JonBeves @PalliThordarson @quantschmant @dmhuang @Samders9 @ben_carwithen

Flagship molecule of my PhD is finally out in @J_A_C_S! 23 rings in the helix AND unprecedented chiroptical properties. Co-first @Bergy_Dunitz explained the structure/function relationship that will enable future design: diameter & length are critical!

Our very own chemist doing big things with small molecules! Check out Gavin's work from his postdoc
Our new recycling strategy is out in @J_A_C_S! Comonomer additives enable deconstruction of polystyrene to small fragments, which can be repolymerized back to same/high MW. Thermomech properties preserved! @johnsonchem @EllieChemistry @Sipei5 @Peyton_Shieh pubs.acs.org/doi/10.1021/jac…

Very excited to get this on the arXiv! Miles demonstrates how quintets form in #singletfission by borrowing open quantum systems techniques. Awesome to work with new & old collaborators @quantschmant, Francesco Campaioli, & @dane_mcc

I’m so excited to announce that I’ll be joining the Department of Chemistry at Columbia University in July 2022 as an Assistant Professor! @ChemColumbia @Columbia
So thankful to all my mentors, colleagues, friends and family for helping me realize this dream.
woohoo! psyched to finally have this out in press news.harvard.edu/gazette/sto…

Thanks to @dncongreve
@tracyhle @MAHESHKUMARG4 and others without twitter for the awesome teamwork getting this thing done!
Oh and I’ve been waiting for this a long time but… @dncongreve I TOLD YOU SO
I'm just now realizing we missed a real opportunity to call this print @lilyachty
We are proud to present "Triplet Fusion Upconversion Nanocapsules for Volumetric 3D Printing"
arxiv.org/abs/2109.02780
We printed Benchy by patterning light inside a sealed cuvette!!!

Pretty excited to finally have this out on Arxiv:

My favorite figure is actually in the SI. We wanted to do 3D printing using upconverted blue light. But first we needed to design nanocarriers for upconversion liquid
Eventually we landed on a good synthetic protocol. Hopefully we can publish a more detailed exploration of the nanoencapsulation process in subsequent work
I can't wait to see where @dncongreve @tracyhle @ArynnOGallegos @CongreveLab take this work next! Lots of exciting opportunities ahead
Some very cool work from my friend @sdbrucks, an excellent polymer chemist and an even better mucus expert
We're super excited to share this new research from postdoc @sdbrucks and former grad student Austin Kruger (now at 3M).
