I don’t think GSV can win this series; their offense is hideous. ATL has a lot more firepower, which will make the difference as the series progresses. 🏀
So the Fever knew AB had a busted knee. Signed her to a huge 4 year deal. Avoided surgery. When all they had to do was negotiate less pay in 2026, get the surgery done and recruit a backup big for at least a year (instead of settling on Mo). This team has no vision. 😞
Believe me, CC is not letting both Lexie and Sophie go. Maybe one, but definitely not both. Also, she’ll make sure MHA is resigned.
Wishing her a quick recovery and I hope we get her back stronger than ever before. 💙
Aliyah Boston underwent a successful right knee arthroscopy to repair the lateral meniscus on Wednesday.

Average 2026 WNBA viewership

Caitlin Clark games: 2.32M
Over 250% increase when the Baby GOAT plays.
Literally every episode on her ESPN Podcast was some controversial hot take to fan the flames. Then she would call out fans who got upset by it. Every thumbnail was Clark.
One of the single biggest catalysts to her career, and yet 3 years of this same rhetoric.
My problem w this is
1. You don’t get to light a match and walk away from the flame. She was part of the problem.
2. If you’re going to speak on the problem, tell the WHOLE story, not just the half that serves your narrative. Otherwise, you’re not helping solve anything. You’re helping it grow
Yes, I’ve seen fans of “this one person” (who we all know is Caitlin Clark) minimize the contributions and accomplishments of other players in this league. That deserves criticism. But I’ve ALSO seen Caitlin’s fanbase broadly labeled racist, called “coons,” and subjected to all kinds of vitriol for what amounts to perfectly normal basketball commentary about certain players
Calling out one form of abuse while ignoring another isn’t accountability. It’s selective outrage.
Imagine if this was done by this mascot 🤷♂️
If this happened in Gainbridge they'd have had Freddy fired already

Yes the Fever roster lacks depth, but what you are seeing is a huge difference between coaching styles. Nakase caters to every strength on her team, White wants everyone to cater to her system. Add to that Nakase’s game plan preparation is ages ahead of White. If you send Raven to GSV, she will play elite ball. Or better yet, look at how Mo was utilized under Nakase versus White.
ATL and GSV, I can’t say that I saw this final coming but yet it’s totally not surprising. ATL added a lot of talent to an already talented squad. GSV have grit that is not matched by any other organization (not just players but everyone in the organization). GSV having home court advantage could be the difference maker in this series.
Two of my four least favorite teams have made the WNBA finals. However, I have to take my hat off to both of them, they have been playing amazingly well. I hope we get a 7 games series that produces some good stuff. Congrats to the Dream and the Valkyries. 👏👏👏
Just watched Schumacher 94: Birth of a Legend on Netflix. It a great documentary that shows how the old guard treats a generational talent on the rise that comes out of nowhere.

Whoever voted for Caitlin for MVP, that one voter, I see you. You're in the right side of history brother/sister. Lol. ✊

Caitlin Clark, how much more proof do you need?
You have been beaten to hell, mocked, disrespected, minimized, overlooked, talked about behind your back and treated like an inconvenience by people who have benefited enormously from everything your arrival has done for this league.
You have taken cheap shots on the court, contempt off it, lectures from people who resent the attention you receive, and criticism from people who would kill for a fraction of the audience you brought with you.
And through all of it, you keep extending grace.
You keep defending them.
You keep lowering your head, choosing the diplomatic answer and protecting people who have shown absolutely no hesitation about taking shots at you.
At some point, that stops looking gracious and starts looking like you refuse to read the room.
Great basketball got you here. Great basketball made you a superstar. Great basketball changed the economics, television ratings, attendance and relevance of this league.
Great basketball is not going to clean up the culture surrounding you.
You are going to have to decide who the hell you are.
Either you understand that you are the most powerful player in women’s basketball, or you keep allowing people who resent that reality to dictate the terms of your existence inside this league.
Stop apologizing for your impact.
Stop making yourself smaller so everyone else can feel bigger.
Stop protecting people who would never protect you with the same intensity.
Stop bowing at the feet of a culture that has spent years demanding your humility while showing precious little humility toward you.
You do not owe anyone an apology for being the superstar.
You do not owe anyone guilt for being popular.
You do not owe anyone silence while they insult you, stereotype your fans, question your success or treat your presence like something the league has to endure.
READ THE DAMN ROOM.
They know exactly how powerful you are.
The only person who still seems reluctant to acknowledge it is you.
Own it.
Use it.
Demand better.
Because if Caitlin Clark continues surrendering her voice to people who have spent years diminishing her, eventually the biggest obstacle standing between Caitlin Clark and the power she earned will be Caitlin Clark herself.

Caitlin Clark has spoken out against racism, bigotry and other forms of hatred numerous times, yet it’s never enough.
When she speaks, people either pretend they don’t hear it or pick through Every. Single. Word. to say, “Well, actually …”
Well, actually what?!

Seeing Olivia Miles receive more MVP votes than Caitlin Clark tells me all I need to know. At this point, unless Caitlin averages 27 PPG, 5 RPG, and 10 APG, I’m not sure what it will take for her to win MVP. Olivia had a good season, but she did not have a better season than Caitlin. This is exactly why people question the voting.
