🚨Michael Olise on facing Manchester United in the Champions League: “When I was at Crystal Palace, I played several games against Manchester United, and I still remember some iconic moments. Old Trafford was one of the things that attracted me to the club. The atmosphere there was massive. I still remember the free-kick I scored against them. It was the last free-kick I scored for a club, so that moment has always stayed with me. Facing them in the Champions League will be tough because we know the kind of club Manchester United are. You cannot judge them by their recent form when you’re preparing to face them in a competition like the Champions League. This is Manchester United we’re talking about. People have been talking about me facing Luke Shaw. Will it be easy for me? I don’t know. I can only answer that after the match. Right now, all I want is to win. But this isn’t Michael Olise against Luke Shaw. It’s Manchester United against Bayern Munich. Experience matters, and Shaw has plenty of it. We cannot underestimate United because they have quality players who can decide a game. I know Kobbie Mainoo, Leny Yoro and Amad. These are players you cannot afford to give too much space because they can hurt you at any moment. I know it’s not going to be an easy match, but we’re Bayern Munich, and we know what it takes to compete at the highest level. We’ll respect Manchester United, but our target is to win.”
