How would you improve maths & numeracy for children & adults? Tomorrow Tuesday, I've been invited to address @UKHouseofLords "Science & Technology Committee" about the state of UK maths education. The Committee is seeking to understand why a significant proportion of pupils fail maths at GCSE, challenges in teacher recruitment and the future of the maths curriculum in an increasingly AI-driven world.
