Over a dozen masked settlers just attacked Turmus’ayya. Burned an American home and severely beat an American citizen, Chicagoan Mohammed Sakat. One town over from Abu Falah and was attacked on the same day. They’re really cracking down here.

Matt will dig up senate races from 2004 to win an argument, but on this one he's going on vibes. Here's the data:
Americans who won't vote for a Muslim candidate they agree with (since 2016):
-All voters: 31% to 43%
-Republicans: 51% → 72%.
-Democrats: 13% → 18%
Curious how Matt plans to moderate "I agree with you, but you're Muslim." Maybe AES should try being 10% less Muslim and see how it polls.
Thanks @MarkPocan and for your vision and leadership.
There is also a difference between a debate with others in our party over issues (billionaire tax, medicare for all, repealing Laken Riley, no aid to Israel) and going after people personally. I'm for the former, not latter.
Maybe a little self-awareness, @neeratanden.
Look through your own feed. Throughout the Wisconsin Primary up to the election you’re trashing one candidate & we asked you to please keep it down.
I agree going after each other at certain times is bad. But may I suggest a mirror?

Majority Democrats, which is profiled in this piece, is funded almost entirely by a single hedge-fund billionaire who is a charter school zealot and heavily invested in hyperscalers and AI data centers. Yet this group is referred to as "center-left."

Lotta respect for you @rokhanna, but your desire to attack future rivals is not more important than the most important midterms of our lives. Totally awesome for you to offer your stump speech on Nov 4th.
Eyes on the prize - I beg of you.

CBS News Miami reporter Jim DeFede EXPOSES Ashley Moody
Jim plays audio from a rare interview Moody gave this week on the radio and comments:
"That is what is commonly referred to as WORD SALAD. I'm not sure what she said, but I am certain she never answered Manny's question.
So, his question remains. What did Ashley Moody know and when did she know it?"

When the cost of eggs spiked in 2022, economists said bird flu alone was to blame. Anyone who suspected corporate price-fixing was dismissed as a crank.
Inside the alleged egg cartel the experts said couldn’t exist.

Neera Tanden: "I made a horrible mistake in retweeting [Laura Loomer]... I looked at a comment of hers, and it was a mistake."
Me: "You know what the comment was about? "
Neera: "She had a video that she was showing of something."
Me: "It was about Hasan Piker, Neera."
Neera: "OK. Sure. There's a criticism."
Me: "I'm just wondering what you were thinking of when you did that."
Neera: "I mean, it was a mistake, I did it, like, very quickly."
Me: "Was it just: you saw Hasan Piker and went, 'I've got to retweet this'?"
On @AJHeadtoHead, I asked top Democrat and CAP head @neeratanden why she both quote-tweeted and retweeted Laura Loomer, "one of the most vicious anti-Black, anti-Muslim bigots in this country," and whether Democrats take Islamophobia seriously.

When Neera Tanden @neeratanden returned as CEO last year, the Center for American Progress stopped posting its donor names.
CAP then announced Antony Blinken, who ProPublica reported rejected U.S. reports on Israel blocking aid to Gaza, to its board.

Back in the olive fields today, this time in Jalud. Settlers attacked multiple times as soldiers sat by and watched. When I approached soldiers and shouted at them to stop an attack that was unfolding in front of their eyes, they tear-gassed me.

Severe settler + soldier attack on olive harvesters in Abu Falah. American WaPo journalist Heidi Levine badly wounded. Machine gunfire—at least one Palestinian shot. Tear gas. Soldiers assaulting journalists.
Sam Seder retweeted
To be clear, the only reason I was able to reach Heidi was because young Palestinians provided cover with rocks against machine-gun- and tear-gas-wielding settlers and soldiers. It’s those kids, not the settler terrorists, who the IDF was hunting after the attack.
