We launched AdSworn.com about a week ago and we’re already starting to see some traction.
The idea is simple: make it easier to buy and sell ads directly on websites using verified traffic data.
Still very early, and we’re learning fast.
Would love any feedback: adsworn.com

One thing I learned scaling Flocksy: MRR by itself can lie to you.
It tells you how big the business is today. Churn, margins, and customer usage tell you if it will stay that way.
One good number can hide a lot of bad ones.

We’re always trying new tools at Flocksy, and I’d love to find a few built by people on here that we can actually use.
Just tell me what it does in one sentence.
A good product tells people what it does.
A good story tells them why to care.
Proof gives them a reason to believe it.
Most builders spend all their time on the first one.
I think builders spend way too much time asking, “What are our competitors doing?”
That’s how you end up building the same product with a different logo.
Study the customer, not the category. The easiest way to be ignored is to look like everyone else.
Every new website is starting to look the same.
Same gradients. Same copy. Same animations. Same AI slop.
AI can help us move faster, but we still need human creativity and taste to make something people actually remember.
When Flocksy was smaller, I could fix a broken process with a quick message.
At 70+ people, that same problem turns into missed handoffs, extra meetings, and unhappy clients.
Scaling isn’t doing more. It’s building a company that works without you explaining everything.
Building Flocksy to $5M ARR taught me this:
Starting is exciting. Scaling is humbling.
The hardest part isn’t building the company. It’s being willing to rebuild it while it’s still working.
I decided to put Flocksy on Thonest for a simple reason:
I’m tired of “building in public” only meaning sharing the wins.
The revenue milestones.
The growth charts.
The big launches.
The victory laps.
That’s not what building a company actually feels like.
There are months where everything clicks.
And there are months where you question the strategy, make the wrong call, change direction, lose momentum, rebuild, and keep going anyway.
I’ve been building Flocksy for years. We’ve grown to $5M+ ARR with 70+ people working across the company.
But the number isn’t the part I want to document.
I want to document the journey.
The good decisions.
The bad ones.
The pivots.
The predictions I get right.
The ones I get completely wrong.
So I put Flocksy’s timeline on Thonest.
Not to prove that I’m always right.
Almost the opposite.
I think the internet needs more receipts and fewer highlight reels.
If you’re building something, don’t just show people where you ended up.
Show them how you got there.
That’s the part that might actually help someone.

We focused on our existing clients and added a simple referral program in. Word of mouth helped a lot. We did very little advertising. — Flocksy, verified from billing. thonest.com/c/flocksy/m/cmty…
We use Stripe at Flocksy. Why do people prefer other payment methods? Is it cost, ease of integrations or something else?
We grew Flocksy for years through word of mouth. Focus on existing users and let them be your billboards. thonest.com/c/flocksy/m/cmty…
