In the wake of the #metoo movement, I sat with the rest of the world troubled by the amount of harm done in the name of male sexuality. From outright sexual violence to the almost universal stories of women enduring daily catcalls.
Politics cleave in half so many virtues meant to be whole
Christian lovers of justice for the vulnerable: might there be room for unborn children?
Christian lovers of life for the unborn: might there be room for other vulnerable people losing their lives to preventable death?
Thankful Jesus offers love & life to all. #Life&Justice
We all saw what we saw and it was rotten racism to its core. But I guess "intern" is what our president has decided to call the racism in his heart.
You can be a person of moral courage and root out your sins. Or you can give them nicknames.
We all get to choose.
There is no such thing as toxic empathy. It's any oxymoron, like dry rain or warm snow. Just like you can't have too much love. If its too much, its become something else. You can't have too much empathy. If it's toxic, it's something else, most often codependency or enmeshment.

“His written remarks.” Nice sleight of hand.
They won’t admit that he misspoke even when it happens live on camera.
If the administration will lie about something like this, think about all the other things they’re lying about.
No he didn’t, Libby. His written remarks referred to Greenland as a “piece of ice” because that’s what it is.
You’re the only one mixing anything up here.
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
The Press Secretary is not telling the truth. Trump referred to Greenland as "Iceland" multiple times, not only as a "piece of ice" as she falsely claims. It is not relevant what "written remarks" say; Miss Dean did not claim to be talking exclusively about written remarks. x.com/i/status/20140…

The empire is trying to sleep with the church. And the church has been all too willing sleep around.
“But you walked away from your first love—why? What’s going on with you, anyway? Do you have any idea how far you’ve fallen?” Rev 2:4,5
It's a cult serving one man's unbelievably fragile ego. He cannot accept he lost an election.
words fail at the brazenness of the dishonesty in the White House's new January 6 timeline: whitehouse.gov/j6/
What do these guys think romantic love is built on?
If you're not willing to be moved by a woman when she shines in her truest sense, then how do you ever have romance? Awe is what runs romance.
RIP, the lover in men.

The victims have been threatened. The men they were forced to be with are powerful and wealthy. They can sue them into oblivion and make their lives even more of a hell. Epstein hired people to follow the girls he abused, and to harass members of their families. He told them "I know where you live." He told them he would destroy them. I would hope that the public understands that these women have children -- they are afraid not only for themselves, but for their families and loved ones.
This is really, really dark evil stuff.

The last thing humanity needs is more deep relationships with AIs, even if the AIs are simulating people we loved before they died. This is sick, and this is our lonely future unless we start saying no to it now.
This is false and a dangerous mistreatment of women. It's inherently a sex addict mindset.
Porn addiction is not the result of "unmet sexual desire." It's a pattern of self soothing and sexual entitlement rooted in a divided self. Recovery is squarely a man's responsibility.
This. We are giving ourselves over to murderous rage.
In the last few years we've seen:
- The plot to kidnap Gretchen Whitmer
- The Storming of the Capitol and pipe bombs left at the RNC and DNC
- The break-in to kidnap Nancy Pelosi and the brutal on Paul Pelosi
- Multiple assassination attempts against Trump
- The assassination of Minnesota House Speaker Melissa Hortman and her husband and the shooting of on State Senator John Hoffman and his wife
- Luigi Mangione's assassination of Brian Thompson
- The assassination of Charlie Kirk
Political violence is contagious. It is spreading. It is not confined to one side or belief system. It should terrify us all.
The foundation of a free society is the ability to participate in it without fear of violence. Political violence is always an attack against us all. You have to be so blind not to see that.
I work with victims of sexual abuse. This matches my professional experience on the stats and the story. And I don't get it either.
The thing that gets me about the Epstein story is that while most pedophilia is perpetrated by family members and trusted individuals known to the family, this Epstein story *is* the Eyes Wide Shut Evil Elite Cabal stuff MAGA and Q people have always talked about. It's Epstein and Trump and billionaires and politicians and well known "elites", and now that it's here with evidence like this birthday book, they don't want to have anything to do with it because Donald Trump is involved. It is horrific and it's shameful.
Trauma informed counseling is exactly the process of helping people come to terms with "What happened to you is not your fault." It's also inviting them into the responsibility for their wounds and pain. Therapy is a wonderful place to mature as a person and grow closer to God.
All of this.
No, we aren't moving on from the Epstein Files. We aren't moving on from trafficking and child rape. And no, @realDonaldTrump, we aren't buying the idea that the files never existed, or were faked by Obama, or whatever new story you come up with.
We see you.
I can't imagine trying to know God and believe that including women makes it worse. I earned my counseling degree at @rtsorlando and the women in my program changed my life.
