The maximum amount an individual can donate to a candidate is $3500. Elon Musk just donated $7 million to one Republican, because Citizens United gave a loophole to billionaires to buy elections. Overturn Citizens United.
NEW — Elon Musk has directed more than $7 million to help reelect Ohio Republican Sen. Jon Husted, per the Ohio Capital Journal.

The average age of a car on the road in America has now passed 13 years. This is a new record high, and comes after the cost of both new and used cars has soared. The average new car in the U.S. costs just over $50,000, while the average price for a used vehicle is over $27,000.

BREAKING: America’s $1.7 trillion auto loan market is headed for a crash, per Reuters. Auto loans are now one of the biggest sources of household debt, bigger than credit cards. And the strain is showing: 1 in 5 Americans is behind on at least one loan, the highest since 2010, and the average car on the road is now nearly 13 years old, a record.

EXCLUSIVE: Elon Musk came to Donald Trump with the plan to throttle Ukraine’s use of SpaceX’s Starshield satellite internet network, sources have told the Telegraph. The tech billionaire made the proposal during the US President’s row with Volodymyr Zelensky over strikes on Russian oil refineries. ‘The reality is that they were both in it,’ a senior source said of Musk’s and Trump’s involvement. But after a night of carnage in Kyiv caused by the slowdown, Musk was alarmed about the possibility of adverse consumer reaction in Europe. The SpaceX boss then proceeded to tweet, blaming the US administration, and ultimately, President Trump for authorising the slowdown. ‘He tweeted out that he was innocent and that it was the US administration that did it,’ the source said.

BREAKING: The US deficit widened to $1.99 trillion for FY2026, up +12% from the $1.78 trillion recorded last year. Spending rose by +6%, to $7.4 trillion, and NET interest officially rose above $1 trillion. Debt servicing costs are now their third largest expense for the US government, only behind Social Security and Medicare. This marks the fourth-straight year with the US fiscal deficit around $2 trillion. The deficit spending crisis is out of control.

It’s a farce. It’s so blatantly wrong. You can hate or love immigrants, want healthcare for all, factory jobs or tech jobs. Hell. You can even be a fan of Elon. This makes a mockery of our system of government. At the least, we should agree on that
POLITICO: Three billionaires including Elon Musk have accounted for $600 million in federal donations to the GOP this cycle

In FY 2026, the US government: > Had $5.403 trillion in revenue > Spent $7.396 trillion That means, the US federal budget deficit was: > About $1.992 trillion > Around 6% of US GDP > ⬆️ 12% from 2025 The gross US national debt is now around $40.3 trillion (per the US Treasury Department)
