Today, we mark a significant milestone on our path toward the European Union – the EU has approved the negotiating framework for Ukraine. This achievement, fought for at various levels, paves the way for the start of negotiations next week.
These are truly historic moments. Ukraine is and will always be part of a united Europe.
Congratulations also to Moldova, the Moldovan people, and President Sandu, as the EU's negotiating framework for Moldova has also been approved today.
It is important for every country and society that upholds European values and strives for real European strength to band together in a united Europe.
