Something a little different this time. A few of my friends and I each wrote a short story for an Amazon Original Stories collection called PURSUIT. Same theme for all of us: hunt or be hunted. @MarkGreaneyBook with Joshua Hood, @GervaisBooks, @bentleydonb, @mccloskeybooks, @Allison_Brennan, and me. Good company. My story is BUSHIDO. It's not a Pike Logan this time, but my Taskforce research informed the story.  While conducting book research in Japan and South Korea for Omega Authority, I had, as usual, a lot left on the cutting room floor.  I used it for BUSHIDO.  This short story features Luke Thorne, a contract killer sent to take out a Yakuza boss at Matsumoto Castle. He soon learns he hit the wrong man, even though he hit the target he was given. Now two crime families are hunting him through a country he doesn't know, and he has to determine what went wrong before they catch him. Each story reads in one sitting. All six come out October 27th…I'm looking forward to reading what the rest of my fellow authors came up with.
