RIP, @randypicker: for almost 40 years, he taught @UChicagoLaw in subjects as varied as bankruptcy and antitrust. He generously asked me to guest-lecture in his “Platforms and Networks” class in 2022; I learned the most from all the exchanges. A kind, thoughtful, brilliant man.

I’ve known Matthew Schwartz for two decades; we clerked for Justice Alito together.
He’s one of the most gifted lawyers I’ve ever worked with, and I can’t imagine a better judicial nominee.
Matt will be a phenomenal member of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit.

I am pleased to announce the nomination of Whitney Hermandorfer to serve as a Judge on the United States Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit. Whitney has been serving the Great People of Tennessee, in the Attorney General’s Office, where she has strongly litigated in Court to protect Citizens from Federal Government Overreach. A former Co-Captain of the Princeton University Women’s Basketball Team, Whitney is a staunch defender of Girls’ and Women’s Sports. She has a long history of working for Judges and Justices who respect the RULE OF LAW, and protect our Constitution, including Justice Samuel Alito and two fine Supreme Court Justices I appointed in my First Term. Whitney is a Fighter who will inspire confidence in our Legal System. Thank you Whitney!
Go Gators! It's great to see #Gatornation supporting the effort to make our country great.
Today a Gator Senator got to question a Gator Presidential nominee! I know Keith Sonderling will do an incredible job as the Deputy Secretary of Labor and I’m proud to support him. #Gatornation #gogators 🐊🇺🇸 @UF @FloridaGators

I enjoyed speaking to the New York City Federalist Society last night about the difference that leadership can make in a state. Here’s to hoping that the once great New York state can soon return to common sense and good governance.

If true, this report is deeply concerning. FEMA’s mission is to provide aid to Americans in need, irrespective of political beliefs. The idea that a supervisor would instruct workers to bypass homes based on signs of political affiliation threatens the very trust we place in our public institutions. At a time when divisions already run deep, Americans deserve to know that their access to disaster relief is unbiased and grounded in fairness. Anything less risks further eroding confidence in the essential services we all depend on in times of crisis.
