Yesterday I said that at the time, the two fastest men in NZ were Australians. Turns out that was only 50% true. Squadron Leader Jason "Easty" Easthope who flew A-4K Skyhawks in the RNZAF then made the move to the RAAF to fly Hornets after the disbanding of our air combat units. 📷 Gavin Conroy

When I was kid I used to catch eels - farm kid. Knowing all I know now about eels, I would have to be starving to eat one these days - beautiful creatures. I saw kids fish out one on New Years eve and I felt a pang of sadness. Sentimental journey
