Mr. Vice President, it’s definitely simple to say. Much harder to execute.
Most H-1B employers aren’t required to recruit Americans first.
L-1 visas have no annual cap, no occupational prevailing-wage requirement, and no general labor-market test.
And OPT provides another pathway into American jobs.
Fraud enforcement is important. But employers can follow the law and still bypass qualified American workers.
The real challenge isn’t just enforcing the rules.
It’s fixing the rules themselves.

🚨 NEARLY 1 MILLION H-1B AND L-1 WORKERS IN AMERICA. AND ORGANIZED LABOR IS SOUNDING THE ALARM.
THIS ISN’T COMING FROM AN ANTI-IMMIGRATION ORGANIZATION.
It’s coming from an AFL-CIO-affiliated labor organization representing more than 4 MILLION union members.
Its February 2026 report reveals:
• H-1B: Approximately 600,000 workers
• L-1: An estimated 310,000–337,000 workers
• COMBINED: 910,000–937,000
WHAT IS L-1?
L-1 visas allow multinational companies to transfer employees from overseas offices into their U.S. operations.
• L-1A: Executives and managers
• L-1B: Workers with specialized company knowledge
And here’s what most Americans don’t realize.
① L-1 has NO annual numerical cap.
② L-1 has NO occupational prevailing-wage requirement.
③ Most H-1B employers aren’t required to recruit qualified Americans first.
④ In FY2019, 60% of H-1B positions were assigned the two lowest prevailing-wage levels.
⑤ In 2022, nearly 40% of cap-subject H-1B visas went to just 30 employers, including 17 primarily outsourcing companies.
⑥ Disney replaced approximately 250 American IT workers in 2015 with workers employed by H-1B contractors.
⑦ UCSF eliminated nearly 100 IT positions in 2017 in an outsourcing arrangement involving H-1B workers.
⑧ Internal HCL documents cited in litigation estimated more than $95 MILLION annually in potential labor-cost savings from lower-paid H-1B workers.
⑨ The report documents cases of American workers being required to TRAIN their foreign replacements before receiving severance.
⑩ L-1 employment has far less public wage transparency than H-1B, making oversight particularly difficult.
And what does organized labor want?
• Recruit qualified Americans first.
• Prevent displacement of American workers.
• Strengthen wage requirements for H-1B and L-1.
• Increase enforcement and accountability.
For years, the debate has focused almost exclusively on H-1B.
But there’s another enormous guest-worker program operating with fewer wage safeguards, no annual cap, and significantly less transparency.
And now organized labor is raising concerns about BOTH.
This isn’t simply an immigration debate.
It’s about American jobs, wages, outsourcing, and whether employers should have to demonstrate a genuine labor shortage before bringing foreign workers into the country.

Now Netflix is doing over 1000 layoffs
They must be blocked 100% from all visa programs
STOP allowing companies to lay off Americans while sponsoring visas to hire immigrants!
Why is Netflix advertising this fully remote software engineering job in the Seattle Times Classifieds this week - but the same job isn't listed on their career website?
We bet a lot of Americans would take a fully remote job at Netflix for a $750k salary!

🚨 KROGER IS CUTTING 3,000 AMERICAN CORPORATE JOBS. BUT THERE’S ANOTHER STORY WORTH WATCHING.
The grocery giant just announced plans to eliminate 37% of its corporate workforce.
Meanwhile, Kroger has been developing a Global Capability Center in India.
Its CFO previously said the center would improve productivity and deliver larger benefits in 2027 and 2028.
Now the company is eliminating 3,000 American corporate positions over three years.
Kroger attributes the restructuring to efficiency improvements and technology.
There is no confirmed evidence that these positions are moving to India.
But shouldn’t Kroger disclose how many jobs it plans to create overseas while eliminating thousands at home?

🚨 NEW DATA REVEALS A MAJOR SHIFT IN HOW COMPANIES ARE MOVING TECHNOLOGY WORK TO INDIA.
Knight Frank’s latest report:
Global Capability Centers: +10.4%.
Traditional IT outsourcing: -36%.
GCCs now account for 41% of India’s office leasing.
The difference?
Instead of outsourcing work to Indian IT firms, multinational corporations are increasingly building their own operations in India.
These are office-leasing numbers, not job counts.
While Washington cracks down on H-1Bs and green cards, are we overlooking the bigger shift toward offshore corporate operations?

For decades, H-1B visas were sold as a way to keep America competitive.
In reality, it was a scam.
The H-1B pipeline kneecapped a generation of American workers, undercut American wages, and transferred industries into the hands of foreign lobbies.
It’s time to stop the scam.

🚨 WHILE TRUMP CRACKS DOWN ON H-1B AND PERM, LOOK WHERE THE MONEY IS GOING.
A new Indian trade research report reveals:
🇮🇳 $221.4 BILLION in India’s annual software and IT-enabled services exports.
🇺🇸 $119.7 BILLION comes from the United States alone.
That’s 54.1% of India’s entire software and IT services export market coming from American customers.
And here’s the staggering part:
An estimated $109.8 BILLION in U.S.-bound services is delivered remotely from India.
Think about that.
Washington can restrict H-1B visas.
It can suspend PERM applications.
But neither directly prevents American corporations from outsourcing technology work overseas.
The visa debate is only half the story.
The other half is where American companies are sending the work.

Congresswoman, investigating potential abuse of a government-created foreign-worker program is not the same as ending legal immigration.
PERM is supposed to protect American workers by requiring employers to demonstrate that qualified U.S. workers aren’t available.
If those protections aren’t being followed, shouldn’t Congress want that investigated?
You can defend legal immigration without giving corporations a free pass.
American workers deserve protection too.

Daniel, you’re confusing new hires with existing jobs.
Microsoft says 80% of its 6,000 H-1B petitions were extensions or status changes.
And?
Those workers still occupy American jobs. Extending their visas doesn’t make those positions available to Americans.
And the other 20% were already in the U.S.?
Being in America doesn’t make someone an American worker.
Microsoft answered where its workers came from.
It didn’t answer whether qualified Americans had a fair shot at those jobs.

Want to *actually* stop Microsoft from replacing Americans with H-1Bs?
Microsoft received $4.5 billion in federal government contracts in the last decade. Tell them they lose all government contracts if they have a single H-1B.

Vice President JD Vance announces the suspension of the PERM Program for Microsoft:
"Thanks to an ongoing investigation, we have decided to suspend the PERM program for Microsoft, which means they will no longer be able to take those H-1Bs and apply for permanent resident status within the United States of America. Now our message to Microsoft and to any other foreign or domestic corporation is quite simple. We obviously want you to thrive in the United States of America. We want people to invest in the United States of America, particularly the American technology sector. We’re the biggest boosters of your industry. We want you to continue to grow and to employ a lot of people, but we want you to employ American workers. And so our message to Microsoft is, you’re great American company, but you’ve got to hire great American workers. You cannot lay off American workers and then replace them with foreign indentured servants."

ROSEMARY JENKS: There are about 750,000 primary H-1B visa holders working in the U.S., plus roughly 200,000 H-4 holders who are also authorized to work and another 400,000 OPTs.
That's over 1.3 million American jobs that have been removed from American workers.
@iaproject
Every day, American workers face discrimination simply because they’re American.
Laid off and told to train your replacement—a guest worker visa holder? Passed over, excluded, or harassed just because you’re American?
That’s national origin discrimination. It’s illegal, and the EEOC is fighting back to protect workers of ALL races who are American.

🚨 A NEW OUTSOURCING MODEL IS EMERGING IN INDIA.
For years, American companies built their own Global Capability Centers in India rather than outsourcing the work to firms like TCS, Infosys and Cognizant.
Now the outsourcing firms are going after the GCCs themselves.
Best Buy just transferred its India GCC and employees to TCS.
And this may be just the beginning.
TCS has created a dedicated business to build, transform and take over GCC operations.
Infosys says it is already involved in 100+ GCC engagements.
Cognizant is pursuing similar build-operate-transform-transfer deals.
The opportunity could be enormous.
A new report estimates 500+ GCCs aren’t fully realizing their potential, creating a pipeline of centers that IT-services firms could potentially acquire, operate or transform.
Think about what that means.
First, a U.S. company moves technology and engineering work to its own center in India.
Then an Indian outsourcing company can take over the center, its employees and the work itself.
Outsourcing isn’t disappearing.
They’re buying the GCCs.
