Netlify has been an absolute joy to work with so far. Having disposable demo sites linked to PRs is what I needed this whole time.
neat, borick.net now lives on netlify.......for now. So far it's been pretty neat!

the nice thing is it updates way faster and I don't have to handle the hugo buid myself anymore which is very nice, no more gh_pages branch to worry about!

I've heard colorists talk about how AI colorization is always incorrect, but seeing examples really makes it clear just how bad it is. The AI-colored photos still *feel* black and white when compared to the real ones.

Colorization APIs are becoming widespread; AI-colorized historical photos are circulated without caveat. But is AI colorization providing an accurate image of the past? To find out, I digitally desaturated these color photos by Sergey Prokudin-Gorsky, taken between 1909 and 1915.

Like whenever I see devs that 'stopped being relevant', it's because their skill became core to their identity. I'm not a web developer in my bones. It's on my resume. And if the world changes around me I might emphasize something else instead. #DevDiscuss

Lol looking at the other posts in this #DevDiscuss this is not what people are talking about 😂. I love that the direction that all web tech is moving in is allowing devs to build more things with less work.
