Today, I had the pleasure of meeting Johanna Fink in Alaska, whose breast cancer journey is a powerful reminder of why early detection matters. ❤️🎀 In March 2026, Johanna went in for a routine mammogram, and just TWO HOURS later, she received a call asking her to return for additional testing. A biopsy confirmed Stage 1 invasive ductal carcinoma. Imagine going in for what you think is a routine appointment, only to have your entire world turned upside down within days. Johanna actually discovered her diagnosis through her online medical records before her doctor called. Suddenly, she was overwhelmed with questions, fear, and uncertainty about what would happen next. Thankfully, an incredible medical team stepped in, guided her through the process, and helped arrange her care. Within weeks, she underwent surgery. ❤️ What really touched me was Johanna’s appreciation for the medical professionals who helped her through such a frightening experience. With no family history of breast cancer, she never expected this diagnosis. Her message to others is simple but powerful: “Take a big breath. Get your annual mammogram. Wait for the results, ask questions, and surround yourself with support.” 🙏🏾🎀 Johanna’s story reminds us that sometimes the smallest appointment on our calendar can turn out to be one of the most important. Please keep Johanna in your prayers as she continues her journey. ❤️ *raining to wet to mow

Today, I was proud to present the Governor’s Medal of Freedom to Baseball Hall of Famer and great Floridian Andre Dawson. His distinguished career in Major League Baseball, his contributions to the sport, and his lasting impact on our state have earned him this award. From his childhood in Southwest Miami, to his college days at FAMU, to his legendary MLB career, “The Hawk” has represented Florida in the best possible way for decades. His generous support of FAMU and its baseball program has helped generations of student-athletes succeed. The Governor’s Medal of Freedom is the highest honor I can bestow on any Floridian, and Andre Dawson truly deserves this recognition.

WATCH: Armed Fulani militants are now using cattle as human shields. New video shows cows pushed ahead as decoys while gunmen advance behind them to attack villages in Nigeria's Middle Belt. This is not a "farmer-herder clash." Herders don't use military tactics. Terrorists do. Stop calling it a clash. Call it what it is.

Thank you, Poland for giving visa to these beautiful woman. Look at these two faces. One was burned with acid for fighting the Taliban. One was blinded for shouting freedom in Tehran. Now look again. These are the faces the regimes feared most. Fahimeh is from Afghanistan. Her husband threw acid on her face because of her activities against against the Taliban and told her: now I have taken your eyes and your face, people will be scared of you, so I dare you to go out and talk to people. I invited them to come on stage with because I want to dedicate my award to these real activists. She met Kosar, an Iranian woman who was blinded by the Islamic Republic during the Woman life Freedom uprising. Thank you Poland for giving us visas. I am taking these two women to Auschwitz before they go on stage. They will stand on stage in Poland, the face her husband wanted to hide speaking to thousands. I do not see victims. I see heroes. They are not fighting for themselves. They are fighting to protect democracy everywhere from the most dangerous cancer, which is called Islamism. Meanwhile, women sit on death row in Iran right now, waiting for the gallows. Women are being erased from every classroom, every job, every public street under the Taliban. And the whole world is quiet. Where are the women's marches? Where is the outrage? This is why I call on universities across Europe and America: open your doors to these heroes. Invite them. Let the new generation of the West hear the truth from women who paid the price of freedom with their eyes and their faces. Books cannot teach what they have lived.

Teach girls to be polite, but NEVER so polite that they ignore danger. Before you walk into a restroom, look around. Make sure the stall locks. If an adult stranger asks you for help inside, you do not have to help them. Take a buddy when you can. And if somebody ignores your “no,” GET LOUD. I would rather these girls make a scene and be safe than stay quiet because they are scared of looking rude.

🚨 HEARTBREAKING: Fallen police officer Shane Seber is being laid to rest today. He was a father of two. He was killed in the line of duty, and his partner is still in the hospital. The Eagles honored him with a tribute at their game. NYPD detectives' union president Scott Munro didn't hold back: "This perpetrator should have been in jail, he shouldn't have been out there or this police officer would have gone home to his family." That says it all. Another hero is dead, and another family is destroyed, because someone who belonged behind bars was walking free. Lock up violent criminals and keep them there. Rest easy, Officer Seber.

I had the pleasure of meeting Rhonda Anton, whose breast cancer journey is a beautiful reminder of just how precious life and family truly are. ❤️🎀 Rhonda had already battled ovarian cancer in 2000, but in 2016, shortly after moving to Florida, a routine mammogram revealed Stage 1 breast cancer. What touched my heart most was hearing that she received her diagnosis just ONE MONTH before her very first grandchild was due to be born. Imagine waiting all those years to become a grandmother, only to suddenly wonder what the future might hold. Rhonda underwent a double mastectomy and thankfully didn’t need chemotherapy or radiation. ❤️ Today, Rhonda is celebrating 10 YEARS since her breast cancer diagnosis! 🙏🏾💕 Through it all, her husband, neighbors, and her dragon boat racing teammates, the Dragon Sisters, surrounded her with love, meals, and help around the house. What really stayed with me was her message to anyone newly diagnosed: “Never give up. Never think it’s the end.” Ten years later, Rhonda is still here, making memories with the grandchildren she once feared she might not get to watch grow up. Sometimes the greatest blessings in life are the moments we almost thought we’d miss. Please join me in celebrating Rhonda and this beautiful milestone! ❤️🎀

Rev. Ezekiel Dachomo, battling liver cancer, yesterday sat in a freshly dug mass grave with 4 bodies — a father and his 3 sons, all members of his church, killed in their sleep. He wasn't crying for himself. He was crying for those still alive in his congregation, who may be next. This is what Christian communities in Plateau State are facing every day. The killers identify as Fulani Islamist militants. The world calls it a clash. We call it what it is: annihilation. Don't look away.

I had the honor of meeting Blue, whose journey through cancer is truly remarkable. ❤️🎀 Imagine being told you have cancer not once, not twice, but THREE different times. In 2022, doctors discovered colon cancer during a routine colonoscopy. Further testing revealed bladder cancer, and then in 2025, another scan uncovered something unexpected—Stage 3 breast cancer that her earlier mammograms hadn’t detected. Blue went through chemotherapy, a double mastectomy, lymph node removal, and radiation, and is now receiving treatment for lymphedema. Just imagine the emotional and physical toll of facing three different cancers. 💔 What touched my heart was Blue’s determination to keep moving forward, one day at a time. Through everything, her sister, family, and friends have stood beside her, providing the love and encouragement she needs. When I asked what advice she would give someone newly diagnosed, her words were simple but powerful: “Take a deep breath. One breath at a time. One step at a time.” ❤️ Sometimes that’s all we can do when life feels overwhelming—focus on the next breath, the next step, and keep going. Please keep Blue in your prayers as she continues her journey. 🙏🏾🎀

Boys should know how to treat people with disabilities. Most people don’t know what to say… so they stare, avoid, or say the wrong thing. Today we taught the boys something simple: speak to them, not around them. Don’t stare. Don’t assume. Just be respectful. Also, lend a helping hand. Before we started, they all knew we were trying to teach so they didn’t think I was really being mean. At the end of the day, they’re people first.
