Ahh the ocean! Enterprising. Sentimental 70's tragic. Yearns. Cares. Books. Movies (film credits/typography intrigue me). Drifter. Sterling Hayden is the man.

Curious: ...when are weather events ‘Mother Nature’ and when are they ‘Climate Change’? And what year was the changeover?

Too little too late. Just out of curiosity, when have you complained about the potholes before now? If this is the first time, why now?

Bernadette McGowan on Facebook .. By constitutional convention, a government minister caught deliberately misleading the house is expected to resign from the executive. Meaning #Albanese shouldn’t be in a job. I expect you @AlboMP to front the cameras and resign tonight. You are in clear breach. You need to go.

Andrew Hastie and Angus Taylor were absent for the Digital Duty of Care bill vote. Is anyone really shocked? This is exactly why so many people walked away from the Liberal Party, there was no real difference between the two major parties, and when it mattered they disappeared or reneged. Disappointing, but not unexpected. Just a validation of my decision.

This is why Albanese and Labor hate social media. His lies can be exposed so easily. WOW he even doubled down on his BS about his handout to his mates at the #SYDNEY Golf Club. #QT (His investment house value would have really increased.) $6,500,000.00 ?? WOW. #CANBERRA
Albanese must hate that we all have access to Senate Estimates about his Golf club hand out. WOW #QT AWKWARD his dates don't match up. #NSWPOL WOW he just can't stop telling lies.

Watching a migrant school David Speers on preserving Australian culture is the best thing you’ll see all day. Still can’t believe the ABC let him speak.

“ … This is why we have doubled the tax on your investments. We have also brought in 2.2M immigrants to compete with you at auctions. We will also continue to impose 500K in taxes and govt charges on every new build. We have also destroyed the economy with corruption, waste, 15 interest rate rises, record inflation, and record tax collection. You’re welcome. Enjoy your new house. Your mate. Anthony Albanese.”

ASIO boss Mike Burgess has said Australia's terror threat level is at the "upper end of probable". This is a failure of our politicians. Australia should be one of the safest countries in the world. We are an island, geographically isolated from much of the world's issues. Instead, bleeding heart politicians choose to keep importing "diversity" instead of admitting they got it wrong.

Thanks Julia Gillard and Labor for the 2013 Sex Discrimination glow-up. You quietly added “gender identity,” deleted “man” and “woman,” and a decade later a women-only app is smashed in court for noticing a male. Women’s spaces are now optional. A man’s feelings outrank a woman’s boundaries. Object, and you become the problem. Roxanne Tickle’s claim is now case law. That is your legacy, Julia: women and girls told their sex is negotiable, their safety is secondary, and saying no makes them the villain. Traitor to women. Shame on you!

Warren Pickering, One Nation’s Victorian state leader, has a story of personal redemption. Warren does not deny the mistakes he made as a young man. He openly acknowledges his past drug use, drink-driving offences and failures as a father, and he expresses genuine regret for the hurt those choices caused his children and the people he loved when he was younger. Rather than asking to be excused or judged as blameless, Warren accepts responsibility for his past and asks to be judged by the man he has worked to become. Warren’s character is reflected in his willingness to own his mistakes, rebuild his life, serve his country, stand by his family and face public scrutiny with honesty. Warren says he stopped using drugs before joining the Australian Defence Force and credits his military service with giving him the discipline, purpose and direction he had been missing. He joined the ADF in 2013, held a Negative Vetting Level 2 security clearance, served operationally in eight countries and remains in the standby reserves. That service helped Warren understand that supporting others gave his life meaning and later inspired him to pursue community and political service. His commitment to his family is also central to his story. Warren assumed custody when his children needed care, remained involved in the lives of his daughter and stepsons, and tried to support their mother’s recovery. His daughter and stepson stood beside him at the press conference, while his stepson spoke of the difference Warren had made to their lives, expressed respect for the person he had become and said he forgave him. Warren’s greatest regret is that he could not give his children the childhood they deserved, but the close relationship he now shares with them points to the effort he has made to repair that harm. He has faced painful questions in public, answered them directly and accepted that voters must weigh both his past and the life he has led since. As One Nation said at the press conference, “One Nation does not grow its candidates in petri dishes like Labor and the Liberal Party. They come from lived experience.” The major parties should reflect on their own shortcomings before condemning a man who has acknowledged his failures, rebuilt his life and demonstrated through his family, military service and community involvement that people can change. Warren’s story shows a man who confronted his mistakes, changed the direction of his life and chose not to remain defined by the worst decisions of his youth. I encourage you to watch his press conference in full and make your own judgement.

An Australian engineer built a micro nuclear reactor that can be mass-produced in months, fits on the back of a ute, with a 5 year refuel cycle - as simple as a swap-and-go gas bottle to replace. The fastest and lowest cost reactor build in American history. Trump called Australian Bobby Gallagher "one of the greatest in the world". This is banned in Australia.

Well said, Paul. Tanya Plibersek is happy to condemn Pauline Hanson for meeting Tommy Robinson, yet her own husband Michael Coutts-Trotter served nearly three years in jail for heroin trafficking. Classic Labor hypocrisy, quick to point the finger at other people’s pasts while refusing to look at her own family’s history.
