Excited to get a copy of The Dention Diaries: Worse than Jail by Sam Copeland which I am helping Bloomsbury put a schools tour together for this autumn. If any schools, teachers, librarians or other educators would like an event do get in touch to find out more.
Dropped my son for his first full day of reception and back at my desk for freelancing again after summer break. Dug out my diary and getting to grips with a new laptop too.
Have had a lovely day visiting Lake Windermere. We took a boat to Bowness and visited The World of Beatrix Potter which was a particularly nice way to spend the morning.
Fab evening seeing the new Luna Loves London exhibition at @Discover_Story

🚨 NEW EPISODE🚨
What happens when archaeology disagrees with the written story? 🏺📜 In this episode of History Rage, Professor Nick Higham explores how physical evidence challenges the idea of a decisive British victory at Badon. Instead of a dramatic turning point, the past looks far more gradual, complex, and unpredictable than the legends suggest.

Final day at @yalebooks yesterday. Had a great year working here with one of the nicest teams in publishing and on so many interesting books.
