🚨🗣Mohamed Salah opens up about the birth of his new son, Lail ❤️
There are moments in life when football becomes very small, and this is one of them.
I came home, put Lail on my chest and just watched him sleep. I didn’t want to move. I didn’t want to check my phone. I didn’t want to think about football. I just wanted to stay there and take in that moment.
Makka and Kayan already have their own special place in our family, but having a son feels like another chapter has quietly begun.
Magi did the hardest part. She gave our family this beautiful gift, and I’m incredibly grateful to her. I was just lucky enough to come home, hold my son and see his little face for the first time.
We chose the name Lail, which means ‘night’. Maybe that’s why everything felt so peaceful when I held him.
I’ve spent my life chasing trophies, goals and big moments, but sometimes the most important victories have nothing to do with football.
Tonight, my only goal is to be a father.
The matches, the pressure and the noise can wait. For now, I just want to hold my son and enjoy this beautiful moment with my family. ❤️
