Hi. I am open for #bookcover or #bookillustration commissions. Two of my recent book cover designs below but more of my #illustration work can be found on my website: sallybarnett.co.uk I would love to hear about your book project. Send me a message.
My first #littlebook is almost out into the world. #Beachcombing is a fav past-time of mine. I put together #illustrations & #mindfulness thoughts with love, about the pleasures it can provide. Go lil book, #drift with the wind. #seaglasshunting #mudlarking #seasidewalks

I did it! I fulfilled a dream I’ve had ever since my daughter was born… I read her my own book at bedtime.
Excuse me while I have a moment. #parent #author #picturebook #publishing

For this final (for now) thread on the Ahlbergs I wanted to focus on their daughter, Jessica's and how she inspired some of their most beloved books.
"The Baby's Catalogue" came from her love of pictures in catalogues, even the garden tool section. #ChildrensLiterature (1/5)

If you’re writing for children or young adults & you’re ready to share your work with agents, keep me in mind. I’m looking for a fabulous new writer to work with. Open to anything a young person might love. Picture books, 5+, non-fiction, MG or YA. amheath.com

When Albert Einstein met Charlie Chaplin in 1931, Einstein said, "What I admire most about your art is its universality. You do not say a word, and yet the world understands you." "It's true." Replied Chaplin, "But your fame is even greater. The world admires you, when no one understands you."

My 5-year-old told me a school friend gave him his address so he can go over for play dates.
The address:
