Interesting viewing of the @ManUtd redevelopment plans at Old Trafford today. Lots of plans for the wider area, and of course challenges with the railway line and canal. I hope the stadium can keep some of the ‘feel’ of OT, the Munich clock and metal framework style.

RIP Geoff Capes! An inspiration to many.

Geoff Capes, British shot put record holder and two-time world's strongest man, has died aged 75. In 1976, Tonight spent some time with him as he prepared for the Olympics lifting tonnes of weights, consuming countless calories and breeding budgies.

Geoff Capes (Tonight, 1976)

"There's no fat on me, son. None at all." Clip taken from Tonight, originally broadcast on BBC One, Wednesday 9 June, 1976.

Never forget when 61-year-old Sir Bobby Charlton joined Man Utd players in training at the Camp Nou ahead of our big UCL clash with Barcelona in 1998. He would've been 87 today 🙏🕊
