Is it too much to ask for a working 4G connection to the least, even though this 2025 and we are in #Singapore? @StarHub Spot #1 / 14:10 PM

1/1 Thank you for your response @starhub and please note that this is not a random burst out, I cant take blindspots anymore. I expect you to address fundamental issue that signal attenuation is so severe, even you ask to stay outdoors, will you not install singal boosters?

1/2 also I was standing right next to the entrance on the first floor. You should conduct some survey with the tenants on that floor and they reflect the same. On a lighter note should we ask BCA to reduce the wall thickness so cellular works on the first floor?

I speak, it responds. I think, it refines. Slowly, the lines blur. Am I the mind, or just the voice of intelligence behind the GPTs?

Spent 3+ hours completing mandatory training on information security, and despite the excruciating basic videos, filler music, and unbearable skits, the actual learning was too low. Collective time spent/wasted by everyone who must attend these training is just appalling!

I actually got curious! Does க = 1? Does any archeological proof exists?

My cell phone rings, I answer and hear my partner’s whispered voice, “Do not come to the office.” Bewildered, I ask him “Why?” "The Panamanian authorities and lawyers from Microsoft are in our call center. They believe we have been using pirated software and it is a criminal offense." I am the President of the company, and legally liable. This was shortly after our second acquisition in Panama. We had never even thought of doing a “software due diligence” to verify that the licenses in our newly acquired call center were legit. It turns out they were not. All 75 computers. This began a lengthy negotiation with the Microsoft attorney. They wanted a penalty for every piece of pirated software. Of course, the genius in IT had not only bought the pirated package the call center needed, he had decided to install nearly every software Microsoft makes onto each computer. Because, if you are going to pirate what you need, why not pirate them all for the same price? Our computers had Microsoft Paint and Publisher for the heck of it. This was going to be expensive. We ended up settling for just over $100,000. We also needed to buy legit software licenses immediately, which tacked on roughly another $100,000. I aged a couple of years in that month and we added “Software Due Diligence” to our pre-closing checklist!

Team India registers a 0.5-3.5 win against Republic of Korea in a nail-biting encounter at #AsianGames Team Men's Chess event! While the scoreline might suggest otherwise, India played one of the most nerve-wracking matches of this event today in the penultimate 8th round. At some point, it felt like India was in the brink of defeat! GM Rameshbabu Praggnanandhaa managed to win his game without any difficulties, taking down Kwon Sehyun on board 2 with the White pieces. Nothing was sure in the rest of the 3 boards! GM Arjun Erigaisi ran into an huge attack on board 3 against Gu-In Jung - he had a lost position with the Black pieces! But the Warangal GM kept his cool and managed to turn it into a win from a complex position. D Gukesh's game was the perhaps the most exciting of them all. Gukesh built up a small advantage with the Black pieces against IM Lee Jun Hyeok, but it became equal-ish in a Bishop vs Knight ending. Desperate for a win, Gukesh overpressed and found himself in a lost position! However, his opponent couldn't find the winning continuation - but now Gukesh had found a way to keep the game going. After a long struggle, IM Lee Jun finally blundered with low time on the clock - missing a checkmating net with Gukesh's Queen and Knight. The score now became 3-0 - India had won the match already! On the last board, GM Pentala Harikrishna had a totally lost position against Ahn Hongjin. But Hari managed to save a very difficult Bishop vs Rook ending, and salvaged a draw.
