New goal for the year: Make sure every school event I attend/chaperone has at least a sensory accommodation room.
Because 90 min is new to our campus, early finishers get to try their hand at skill building. This week they learned how to diy art stickers with parchment paper and tape. @HambrickMS_AISD @AldineArt
After the easy mode they get to try their hand at the frog and dog combo - the realization that they can do it is always a joy

Proud to be a @HambrickMS_AISD Hawk this year! Great things are happening! Heres a wip pic of a new graphic for our display case! Can’t wait to fill it with our first major projects next week!
I am so incredibly thankful for the warm welcome @HambrickMS_AISD has given me. 🥹 I also got to see some of my favorite teague trojans at convocation today!!!! 🥰🥰My heart is full and I’m ready to get this year started!!!!! Year 6 let’s GOOOO!!!

Took a break and celebrated our youngest sisters graduation with an international trip with the family! It was so rejuvenating and put many things into perspective for me!
New Job, New Apt, New chapter in my life 📖
Romans 8:28 🙏🏾💜
Excited to start working on a bunch of commissions this summer! But first? Family trip! Planning out some pants for the venture~
My studio: a mess, chaos, materials all over the place
My students: engaged, excited, experimenting with the techniques taught throughout the year.
Me: tired, elated, working with them to problem solve , proud 🥲 💜
Installation Coming soon…
Honestly I’m going to start promoting students to consider trade school. The AC technician is probably one of the only times i am genuinely excited to see a stranger in my home.
The Texas humidity and heat combo is the worst. Since the flood every time I come home im like:
My nephew is graduating kinder tomorrow 😭 His Mimi (me) is making him a poster with his favorite characters.
Romanticizing my power being out due to the weather by lighting a bunch of candles and listening to Bridgerton while i get ready for work.
Happy Math Staar Day- heres a question:With 7/9 students taking home perfect 4/4 ratings and the rest taking home very good 3/4 ratings, how many 6th grade tms artists had a blast at Jr.Vase? If you got the answer 9 you are correct!!! ⭐️🤩
We’re so close to jr.vase competition. My students were so proud of their pieces and it makes my heart burst with joy.
