Jacobo is a lot of the things said in this video but quick, he is not. That's basically his only real weakness but he compensates for it a lot of the time eith great anticipation. Great CB, he could start for Real rn tbh.

6ft 5, quick and an incredible passer. is this europe’s next elite centre-back?

I will complain about the general levels of the referee's in the league but Atleti's general level is good enough for ref's to not heavily impact our games 90% of the time. We're not usually in a position that even with 12 men we'll be held back.

We got better at defending them but now we need routines to attack them. Lookman and Hancko were instrumental to this last season, only having RLN as a goalscorer from corners is surprising tbh. This and pressing are two issues we need to fix.
Emmanuel Lavogez@LaLigaLavo14h
Atleti’s near-post flick-on routine has brought plenty of goals since its introduction in January. But against Espanyol, Lookman last season and David in the second half were repeatedly blocked from making runs to the back post. 12 corners, just 0.17 xG generated.

People are starting to see it, this is not some uncut gem. This is a system player. There is no next step here.

Even without Dominguez and Castillo, this is maybe the strongest Madrileño side in recent years, with the exception of maybe fullbacks. Atleti B plays the exact same way they have the past 2 years. Nothing's changed really.
Cholismo Stats 🏧@CholismoStatsOct 18

Honestly this has always been my understanding of Tchouameni, has a lot of tools that he just does not use at DM. With that said, I just don't see him break past this hurdle. You're gonna need to buy someone that holds his hand.
La Liga Systems@janufooty18h
Tchouameni looks better when he has a hand-holding midfielder next to him is many people's takeaway from yesterday I'd just like to add to that, Sevilla were offering little to no pressure on him as well He needs to prove himself all season for me game after game after game

Simple review for the game today so no video analysis unfortunately. Another win at a tough ground, now it's just to get our attackers to start firing. Take a listne.

Random comment but I do find it interesting that Arda Guler is uniquely more dangerous from the left than the right. Catches players off a lot on that side

Malaga have a grand total of 6 goals this season. Niño has 3 of them, taking him off is basically saying "I'm fine with being fired". Not too sure I get it but it's about that time for Malaga's coach.

That Atleti mindset, this is good actually it means you can consistently title charge. You do still need a better attack though

Clocked just now that Tetaball has made me to stop caring whenever the attack is poo but I get rattled by the smallest defensive mistake

We're getting Argentines to make Cuti comps, that's amazing man. He really does deserve it though, top in almost everything he does.

Someone is gonna buy Chema Andres and they're gonna get a worse Hjulmand without the top tier passing. Surprisingly flat footed, not particularly good at anticipating/reading plays and shy's away from the ball. Very easy to press. Brighton are gonna scam someone with him.
