Today, the Karachi Gymkhana Literary Committee in collaboration with Rotary 3271 organised a book review session where I reviewed “Mistakes Were Made (But Not by Me)” by psychologists Carol Tavris and Elliot Aronson.
The book explores cognitive dissonance and how we justify our mistakes, defend our actions, and perceive our own behaviour differently from that of others. It was a deeply reflective session, and I thoroughly enjoyed it.

Before discussing any matter of interest in Pakistan, the first thing people do is wear their political glasses and then the discussions start.
Even most people discussing have no background knowledge but something bad happens in the area where other political parties rule, we would love to bash them.
For example, these days the sad news of 30 deaths in a school in KP is the hot and bashing topic.
Most people didn't bother to search deaths by collapsing roof and walls of schools in cities like Sialkot, Multan, Lahore, Muzaffargaharh, Swat, Umer Kot, Dera Ghazi Khan, Khari pur, Layyah also head deaths and injrues.
ماشاءاللٰہ! اگر ایسا ایک بھی خالص دوست ہو جو صرف خوشیوں کا ہی نہیں بلکہ مشکلات میں بھی ساتھ نبھاۓ تو خوش نصیبی ہے ۔۔۔
