Iran and its 'Axis of Resistance' use the term 'Wahhabi' for TWO main reason:
1. Theological: to attack the true and pure Islam (Qur'an, Sunnah, with the understanding of the Salaf). This is why they also use the terms 'Salafi' and 'Takfiri'.
2. Geopolitical: to justify their crimes in Sunni majority countries such as Afghanistan, Iraq, Syria, and now Yemen. Their 'road to Jerusalem' somehow happens to require the murder and displacement of millions of Sunnis.
THEIR emphasis on Saudi is because Iran views it as the main stronghold to number 1. The heart of Islam. AND its main political rival in the ARAB region which Iran wants to control.
We stand with all innocent civilians without exception: Muslim and non-Muslim.
But we will NOT tolerate attacks on our Aqeedah (creed) or misleading labels and slurs against Sunnis.
This propaganda must be exposed AND rejected.
