LeBron bricking shots and KD turning the ball over. “The more things change, the more they stay the same.”

Jamal tried to carry, but Jokic was choking and his defense was sucking ass.

GSW with Green (6'6) at С is smaller than Lakers SG LaRavia (6'7), and GSW PF Williams is the same size as Lakers PG Kennard. So here’s a question for the experts: why are the Lakers winning and dominating the paint?

LeBron looks like the GOAT going up against a high-school-sized Warriors

GSW needs to do this next season.

It really helps GSW that they’re only playing 4 guys off the bench instead of 6 or 7. Everyone gets into the flow of the game much better compared to when Kerr gives them those short 2–3 minute stints.
32
Can Kerr finally stop prioritizing Green’s touches on offense and put the ball more in the hands of team real PG and offensive GOAT Stephen Curry to finally fix GSW offense?
Dribbles x Touches ⬆️ More touches per 75 possessions on-court ➡️ More dribbles per touch Players like Jokic & Green are hubs touching the ball often but w/o dribbling. Players like SGA and Ajay Mitchell are heavier dribblers each touch.

The NBA has no integrity. LeBron "deliverers" 11 points with the worst +/- (+1) of any Laker who played at least three minutes.

"Everything changes, but always stays the same" Lakers +/- against Jazz: Everybody +10 or better LeBron +1

Utah, why are you tanking? It's just preseason. Chill😂

Yes, absolutely right. It's like using a 70 overall guard with an offensive skillset instead of an 80 overall big man simply because you don't like big men and their skillset, even though you already have a 95+ overall offensive guard and he doesn't need weaker copies around him.

We already saw D'Anthony experiment with Westbrook and Covington instead of Capela in Houston 2020 and how they were crushed by the Lakers size, but apparently Kerr missed that lesson.

It's like a "domino effect", where players trying to compensate for each other causes a chain reaction which lead to an inevitable bad outcome.
19
Everyone has to crash the glass to grab rebounds, which prevents them from run in transitions. On offense, after a rebound, instead of putback strong, they pass to 3pt arc because they can't or are afraid to finish over the opposing big men.
20
Therefore, everyone on the court has to compensate for the absence of a big man and his skillset. Everyone has to pack the paint to protect the rim, which leads to giving up open 3pt.
17
This is why GSW is at the bottom of NBA in almost all types of 2pt FG% (drives, cut, putbacks). Because small guards can't finish strong at the rim.

One thinks he is better than he actually is and masquerade as a star player. The other realized that he is not good enough and accepted himself as a role player.

LeRevisionist at work. If 32+yo "star" joins 2 other aging stars (on team that drafted them) and that's called "Big 3" then 13', 14' Heat with Allen, Lewis are now "Big 5" and 22' Lakers with Russ, Melo, Dwight, Rondo, Isiah, Jordan is "Big 8". Am I getting the logic right?
The future of the game is versatility and everyone wants a Wemby.
