October 7 is Clean Air Day. At Safer Together, *every day is Clean Air Day. Communities have been forced to deal with hazardous circumstances for too long, and we're here to slowly but surely reverse the course of air pollution, extreme heat, and policy mismanagement.

Community Health Worker is so much more than a job title, and our CHWs understand this intimately. We can't overstate the importance of accessible and engaging health resources in the communities we serve, where it really is a life-or-death matter.

In the harm reduction advocacy it can feel like so many elements are working against us. We're choosing to focus on the elements harmonizing with us as we wrap up a hectic week, by highlighting five reasons why Safer Care keeps us fighting the good fight.

In a 180 from last week, it's pretty murky out today. That doesn't mean we're through with extreme heat anytime soon. As climate change worsens the conditions our communities call a fact of life, Safer Air commits to work that makes it easier for all of us to breathe. (1/2)
