Hello, us again. We’ve gotten some reports of issues and confusion with vaccine eligibility for some workers on campus. We are looking for all UA workers to share their experiences so we can understand how the process worked. docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1F…

COVID-19 vaccines are now available to those ages 16+ 💉. UA will offer vaccines to all students as supply becomes available. Look for an email notification to schedule an appointment through UA’s vaccination program. Take care of yourself + one another. We are in this together.
Heartbreaking news. Our condolences to Luke’s friends and loved ones.
A University of Alabama senior died this week following a hospitalization for COVID-19. Heartbreaking. cw.ua.edu/81338/sports/ua-se…

Info from UA on their resources and processes:
Where do I submit questions about the vaccine + eligibility? Which versions will UA distribute? What is the COVID-19 vaccination process? We know you probably have lots of questions, and we have the answers! See healthinfo.ua.edu/vaccine/fa… for answers to these questions + more.
As expected they are filling up but many are available into the first week of April. People who work on campus including graduate students and undergrads who have campus jobs are eligible.
A TON of vaccine appointments at DCH are available currently between 3/29 and 4/9. They fill up fast but it’s hundreds of spots right now: form.jotform.com/20338525589…

This website lets you sign up to receive notifications of unclaimed doses of the vaccines, which you can then claim and get. It’s free right now but it is a for-profit venture. Unclear what their business model is but if you are looking: hidrb.com/
We also have no idea if any provider in AL is using this.
