Hazmat/Rollover WB US50 at 10th St. Crews arrived to a rolled over fuel truck leaking diesel fuel from the large tank. The driver was transported in stable condition. Hazmat teams are currently mitigating the leak. Avoid the area if possible due to cleanup efforts.

Commercial Fire: 8500 block of Folsom Blvd. Crews arrived to heavy fire conditions coming from a building at a flea market. Crews were able to gain access on multiple sides to put out the flames. No injuries and the cause is under investigation.

Apartment Fire: 5600 block of Mendocino Blvd Crews arrived to smoke showing from an upstairs unit. Once inside, a fire was located in the kitchen area extending throughout the apartment. A quick knockdown stopped the spread to other units. Unknown on the cause and no injuries.

Structures on Fire: 5000 block of Sky Pkwy Crews arrived to a tree, fence and two houses on fire. It appears the fire started in between the two houses and spread inside to both of them. A person was assessed on scene and refused transport. Unknown on the cause.

Commercial Fire: 4900 block of Stockton Blvd Crews arrived to heavy smoke coming from a grocery store. There was obvious signs of forced entry on arrival making this fire suspicious. After reviewing the camera footage, an arrest was made. No injuries were reported.

Special Rescue 300 block of Light House Way Crews arrived to find a male tree trimmer stuck approximately 30’ up in a tree in the “skirt” of the palm tree. Specialized rescuers set up a rope system and safely lowered him to the ground. The male was not injured but was assessed.

Structure Fire: 5900 block of 41st St. Crews arrived to heavy smoke pushing out of the garage and front door with fire on the backside of the house extending into the attic. Occupants escaped safely and the cause is under investigation.

Structure Fire: 1900 block of Grand Ave Crews arrived to a well involved outbuilding, fence and power lines. The power lines fell on a firefighter causing an injury. The firefighter was transported in stable condition. Unknown on the cause of the fire. No other injuries.

Broken Natural Gas Line: Construction crews struck a large natural gas line in the intersection of 11th St. and H St. Nearby buildings have been evacuated and PG&E is on scene working to get it repaired.

Structure Fire: 1000 block of Alamos Ave Crews arrived to a well involved trailer fire spreading to grass, a boat, garage and house. No injuries and unknown on the cause. Two snakes were rescued from the house.

Structure Fire: 2900 block of 35th Ave Crews arrived to heavy smoke coming from the rear of a house with an outbuilding on fire extending into the house. The resident was able to safely escape before the flames went into the house and attic. The cause is under investigation.

Structure Fire: 2600 block of Curtis Way Crews arrived to find heavy smoke and fire coming from the rear of a 2 story house. One person had smoke inhalation, 2 dogs were rescued and a reptile had smoke inhalation as well. The cause was likely from a dryer in a utility room.

Apartment Fire: 300 block of 27th Street Crews arrived to heavy fire showing from the 1st and 2nd floors of a two story apartment complex. Everyone was able to escape without injuries but one person was bitten by a dog while exiting. The cause is under investigation.

Semi Truck Fire: Southbound I-5 at Pocket Rd. Crews arrived to a well involved semi truck extending into the trailer. The semi was carrying a load of cardboard. The driver escaped without injuries however, traffic is impacted.

Commercial Fire: 400 block of University Ave Crews arrived to a well involved, vacant office building. The decision was made to go defensive due to the advanced fire conditions on arrival. No injuries were reported and the cause is under investigation, although suspicious.

Commercial Fire: 2300 block of American River Dr. Crews arrived to a well involved vacant building with heavy fire from the boarded up structure. One firefighter was injured and transported in stable condition. Unknown on the cause, however it is suspicious in nature.

Structure Fire: 3000 block of Branch St. Crews arrived to a single story house with smoke showing from the rear. Upon making entry, a kitchen fire was found, extending into the attic. Everyone was able to escape without injuries and the cause is under investigation.

Special Rescue 1700 block of 15th St. Crews arrived to find two workers hanging off the side of an 8 story building. This happened while they were working on the building. Rescue crews were able to safely lower them down. No injuries were reported.

Structure Fire: 4100 block of Apostolo Cir. Last night, crews responded to a multi unit structure with heavy fire from the 1st floor. A quick knockdown limited spread to other units in the building. No injuries and the cause is under investigation.
