With the greatest humility, I am pleased to announce that the Islamic Republic of Iran and the United States of America, along with their allies, have agreed to an immediate ceasefire everywhere including Lebanon and elsewhere, EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY.
I warmly welcome the sagacious gesture and extend deepest gratitude to the leadership of both the countries and invite their delegations to Islamabad on Friday, 10th April 2026, to further negotiate for a conclusive agreement to settle all disputes.
Both parties have displayed remarkable wisdom and understanding and have remained constructively engaged in furthering the cause of peace and stability. We earnestly hope, that the ‘Islamabad Talks’ succeed in achieving sustainable peace and wish to share more good news in coming days!

🚨🇮🇷🇵🇰 Iran mined the Strait of Hormuz... but left safe lanes. For ships that ask nicely.
That Pakistani tanker delivered oil, but also proof of concept.
Pay Iran. Stay close to Iran. Broadcast your position to Iran.
Welcome to the new toll road.
🇮🇷 🇴🇲 First non-Iranian oil tanker, Karachi, just passed through the Strait of Hormuz with its tracking signal on.
Traffic there has been super quiet for weeks, so this stood out.
The ship, carrying Abu Dhabi crude, crossed the strait and is now sailing in the Gulf of Oman.
No one officially said why it was allowed through. But it hints that some cargo might be getting quiet safe passage.

Saddened by the passing of Roedad Khan, at age 101. He was a witness to Pakistan’s creation & had a long career as civil servant & adviser to governments. I was honored to know him for last 40 yrs & learn from him, even though we did not always agree in his later years.
Mask fallen off!
