Striking while the iron is hot (not) here, but genuinely why were people so upset with Hamilton backing up Rosberg in Abu Dhabi? Like I saw it on those Verstappen bot farm accounts talking about how evil and selfish it was??

They won the constructors championship months ago. All that was left to play for was the drivers title. Lewis was in the lead and on course to win the race. Why should he speed up when the win wasnโ€™t in jeopardy?

Tbh probably Amon but I am a Brundle defender and he totally deserved to win in Canada in 1992
Nick Heidfeld, Martin Brundle, Stefan Johansson, Chris Amon, Romain Grosjean etcโ€ฆ โ€ฆjust some of the dozens of F1 drivers who left the series winless. But which one deserved a grand prix victory the most? ๐Ÿค” Tell us your pick in the comments! โœ๏ธ

And today we get to see it in the wet with I assume the full @Bridgestone_JPN Typhoon Tyres I remember following the chaotic development of the Gen 3 car. The level of running they are doing with the Gen 4 at this stage is so very, very encouraging. #FormulaE #Monza

luck correction is useful as an interesting thought exercise but if you genuinely & unironically use luck correction as the primary evidence for wheel debates then i think you lack brain cells. and i say this as someone who does luck correction for prost all the time.

One thing I really appreciate about American racing is the matter of teams retaining car numbers, as opposed to belonging solely to the drivers. It creates a lineage of drivers and leaves a legacy of specific team and driver combinations.

Drivers long gone arenโ€™t honoured only when somebody new chooses to race with their number. Theyโ€™re always there. Dan Wheldon might have died but his spirit is still racing. Just one lap ahead. ๐Ÿฆโค๏ธ
