No big deal...two Seattle sports books are currently #1 and #2 for Sports History new releases on Amazon! Boys in the Boat is one of my favorite all-time books and the Metropolitans' story is equally as inspiring a generation before...we truly live in a special city!

My favorite piece I've written: Seattle's first superstar athlete & sports community's patriarch. Still the youngest HC to win the @StanleyCup & the @NHLBlackhawks 1st HC. His influence on both hockey & Seattle sports is massive. @NHLSeattle_ @S_Metros historylink.org/File/21065

I thought this was one of the best pieces I’ve read on the 1919 Stanley Cup Final. The past two months have taken the series from historical anomaly to very real...but, hearing from Joe Hall’s grandson took it to another level. @S_Metros nytimes.com/2020/05/25/sport…

The Cost of Rushing Back to Sports: A Star’s Life (Published 2020)

The 1919 Stanley Cup finals were more than a century ago, but they are bound to current reality by the struggle against a deadly virus and the push for sports to return.
