It's the last day of the Fully Fashioned exhibition today but work by @jcmiddlebrook, inspired by the lace industry, will still be available from the shop @LakesideArts until January. We can't wait to see how her trip to Calais inspires her future work!

Wonderful to talk to a visitor to the Weston Gallery today @LakesideArts who is suffering from dementia but found that the Fully Fashioned exhibition brought back lots of memories of his time working in the Lace Market. #powerofarchives @explorearchives

On our Lace Market tour we were all delighted to find in our midst a lady who had studied lace design at the Nottingham School of Design in the 1940s @NTUArtandDesign and who had worked as a lace designer in the Birkin Building! @EzekialBone @Spenbeck1981 @TalesTextile
