The recruitment model is broken. Managers not consulted and unable to influence. With the money being spent, this is on the board and CEO. It is very poor governance. Same old story
McInnes chose to not take the role a few years ago, I get it, he felt the time wasn’t right and preferred to stay at Aberdeen.
At that point, he should never have been considered the role again. You are either a Ranger or you’re not.
