after a decade of staring in wonder at his work every day, I finally have an original Quentin Blake of my own (!!) I bid on this drawing a few months ago, but it went too high and I gave up.
Then today I found out it was actually my brother also bidding on it for my birthday present 🥲
It is my favourite thing.
(still too scared to take it out of the package)
I think I'm going to post random drawings more often. currently my twitter is curated to the point of never posting, so maybe it's time to embrace the shitty part of shitty watercolour 😊
it was 10 years ago today that I posted my first painting online. and maybe im still not great technically, but if I can capture a feeling every once in a while then that's ok. thank you for being here :)

there is a game I play about doing jobs and I asked if I could make loading screen art for them and they said yes and I said can I include my cat and they said yes so I made about 20 of these
