satoshi nakamoto was not a bitcoin maximalist not even close he was a pragmatic technologist because it is bitcoin whitepaper day (published 17 years ago), here is some evidence from the whitepaper: 1. technical problem-solving, double-spending without trusted third party 2. neutral language: "we propose a solution" not "THE solution" 3. focus on cryptographic proofs and incentive structures 4. practical design trade-offs acknowledged what is notably absent: - zero austrian economics rhetoric - no "fiat is theft" or anti-government ideology - no messianic claims about fixing humanity - no statements that this is the only valid approach - no religious or cult-like language - title is electronic cash system not future of money the bitcoin maximalists of today forced their ideology onto bitcoin satoshi just wanted to solve how we do peer-to-peer electronic payments without banks and then satoshi disappeared, the exact opposite of cult founder behavior, he released a tool and left satoshi built a system designed to work without requiring anyone to believe in it ideologically just follow the incentives so happy bitcoin whitepaper today to all of the pragmatic technologists / engineers solving problems / the satoshi nakamotos of today
