We were delighted to welcome His Royal Highness The Duke of Gloucester to officially open our new emergency operations base this morning.
Thank you to everyone who came along to celebrate with us and helped make the move to our new air base possible.

Moving to our new base was a huge milestone for us, having celebrated our 10th birthday last year.
It was great to celebrate the official opening with everyone after a successful capital appeal which raised £1.3 million needed to purchase our air base. bit.ly/2lfL0CN

Two of our critical care doctors were out this afternoon delivering critical care alongside our ambulance colleagues. All of our doctors are volunteers and do this in addition to their full time NHS jobs. #BASICS.

FAO Pediatricians/ anesthesiologists- invaluable tip for vasular access: a red bike light, cost 5 dollars, has saved me countless times for neonatal access. Don't waste money with expensive devices. See pic of my finger veins as example #pedsanes #pedscards #pediatrics

Great initiative from @swasFT @Rhys_Hancock - Swast clinicians are now able to support Cardiac arrests in their local patch using the @GoodSamApp - a great additional feature is that our @BASICS_HQ responders will be notified of cardiac arrests within a 5 mile radius #volunteers
