Yup. And given the vast majority of children and teenagers at gender services are now same sex attracted females in the UK (something like 75%) it's also brutal lesbian conversion therapy.
This is "heterosexualising" brutal, chemical and physical conversion therapy.

Yes, @BevJacksonAuth is correct.

The definition of ‘transgender identity’ in #ConversionPracticesDraftBill has no limit
If this bill becomes law believing in sex based reality could end up with an individual being criminalised & face 5 years in prison
It’s a bill based on fantasy not reality

MPs were recently given chances to stop the puberty blockers trial.
This is the proportion of each party that voted to allow it to continue:
Conservative: 0%
Reform: 0%
Lib Dem: 77.5%
Labour: 86.4%
Green: 100%
Left-wing parties cannot be trusted to safeguard children.

Totally proportionate response to a woman saying men in fetish gear inc. gimp masks and pup play outfits shouldn’t be at daytime Pride events marketed as ‘family friendly.’
Anyone who sees the kind of abuse myself and other women get for raising legitimate safeguarding questions and isn’t alarmed by it …

1. Never happens.
2. If it happens, the paedophile isn't trans.
3. The real crime here is the deadnaming.
4. TERFs love it when this stuff happens.
5. OMG why do you even care?
UK: A trans-identified male has been sentenced to over 20 years in prison for repeatedly raping a child.
James Groves, who wears a wig and now goes by the name 'April' Groves, was convicted of 18 sexual offenses at Bristol Crown Court this month.

I've been deeply moved by seeing trans identified men upset they've been excluded from society because of their identity. My heart bleeds for them, so I made a list of places where they can enjoy life in public. I couldn't fit them all into one image, so comment with others.

In a free country, you are entitled to believe you are a woman with a penis. But not to take it into a female changing room, nor to cheat your way into a female athletic competition, nor in any way to impose your private delusion on the rest of us.

This is absolutely appalling from the @NursingTimes .
In an article celebrating an award-winning initiative through which bereaved mothers donate their breast milk to help vulnerable babies, the word “mother” is not used once.
The women become “families”. Breast milk is reduced to the clinical language of “lactation”.
Yet it is the grieving mother who sits and expresses milk meant for a baby she cannot hold.
It is her body still producing milk for the child she has lost.
It is she who makes the extraordinary decision to continue expressing that milk and donate it to help another vulnerable baby.
Yet the Nursing Times tells us that more than 400 “families” have donated milk and places the “parent voice” at the centre.
Families grieve. Fathers grieve. Their loss matters enormously.
But families - or parents collectively - do not express breast milk.
Mothers do.
To erase a bereaved mother from this intensely physical act - while supposedly celebrating her generosity - is not inclusive.
It is dehumanising, cruel and profoundly insulting.

The #ConversionPracticesDraftBill is designed to close down conversations around trans gender ideology.
The Finnish study shows we need more conversations not fewer.
Adolescents deserve better than a law knowingly based on poor research.

A landmark Finnish study has found a sharp rise in psychiatric illness among adolescents following sex-alteration procedures.
The peer-reviewed study, published in Acta Paediatrica, tracked every young person under 23 who contacted Finland's gender clinics between 1996 and 2019.
A total 2,083 individuals were studied, with 16,643 matched controls. They were followed for up to 25 years.
Finland's health registers are mandatory, which means no one opts out — this is the complete national picture.
The numbers: psychiatric morbidity rose from 9.8% to 60.7% in adolescents who underwent feminising reassignment, and from 21.6% to 54.5% in masculinising reassignment.
Even after adjusting for prior psychiatric history, gender-referred adolescents faced five times the risk of male population controls, and three times the risk of female controls.
"Psychiatric needs do not subside after medical gender reassignment," the authors concluded.
Referrals after 2010 arrived sicker. 47.9% had already needed psychiatric treatment before their first clinic visit, against 15.3% among controls.
The authors' read: for some adolescents, gender distress may be secondary to other mental health challenges.
The evidence keeps mounting. The silencing continues anyway.
How many more adolescents will be told this is "care"?

Portrait 79 in my series of 100 ex-trans/detrans women:
Kerry/34/new york
“As an autistic child I always had a really hard time making and keeping friends. Id been in therapy since 1997 and on medication since 1998. Going to see a psychiatric professional was as normal to me as getting a haircut. Yet nothing get easier. I made my first best friend when I was 14 and had serious issues with boundaries due to sheer lack of social experience. The shared limerence introduced me to the LGBT community as we mistook it for love.
We crashed and burned as all codependent relationships do and I found myself alone again but now I had a better idea of what I was missing.
I desperately craved a sense of self worth and companionship. My first real friend after that introduced me to her childhood friend who was a trans man. We shared a lot of similar life struggles but he seemed happy. This was not an impulsive decision I made.
Three years later I came out on Facebook. I hadn't told a soul I was even contemplating it. Back then in 2011 there were not as many resources or representation for trans men. Most of what I found was on Tumblr or in local LGBT youth groups.
I started getting involved in local pride organization and planning. I volunteered at the center. I spoke at TDOR events. I learned the local history in New York. Id been out for three or four years when people started asking me why I hadn't started hormones yet or started saving for top surgery. The real reason was i wanted to wait until id gone a full three years without a psychiatric breakdown before making permanent changes to my body. When I explained this I kept getting the same response: maybe the reason I'm having breakdowns is the lack of gender affirmation in the mirror and hormones would make it all better. Next thing I knew I was in a documentary for the local community health center and paying $10 for a six month supply of testosterone.
I found joy, but not in the mirror. It was in the day cares where I worked. I was always eager to tell kids there was no wrong way to be a boy or a girl. Somehow that did not apply to myself.
I didn't stop taking hormones until after the pandemic had started when my husband, then boyfriend, had started to question his gender identity. We were having a conversation about it where I said the words: "honestly if I had come out today I'd probably be nonbinary or something. I don't think anyone is really 100% anything."
He replied: "you know you're allowed to change your mind right?" And he meant it as a humorous comment but it really hit me deep.
The idea that someone could remotely detransition was not even on my radar. Had anyone informed me of that possibility I might've detransitioned years prior. I had zero representation cross my path. That would soon change.
In 2023 we moved to California and I got pregnant. I still identified as nonbinary when I delivered my son in 2024 in San Francisco. I sat in my backyard when he was napping at 4 months old and could not do anything but pray. I may have been a confirmed Catholic but I wasn't actively religious and hadn't been since I was probably 13. I was seeking any kind of higher power to give me clarity that I hadn't wasted the last 12 years of my life pretending to be someone else. I just cried and in my head I could see this little girl who had been told to change by doctors and friends in order to be loved her whole life. I always felt like i had never been good enough. I felt defective.
The identity I wish I had sought first was through God. We are all made perfectly and growing as a person is different than changing yourself. You will never learn how to love yourself by trying to be someone else.”

I am a man. And if “progressive” gender ideologues have their way, 𝘐 can decide what a woman is.
Because all I have to do is say, “I am a woman”, and they immediately clap, cheer and celebrate me for my bravery at “coming out”, when all I’ve actually done is make a statement that is factually and scientifically inaccurate.
And yet those same gender ideologues come on here and tell J.K. Rowling, “You don’t get to decide what a woman is.”
What they’re really saying is that an actual woman should have no say in defining what a woman is, but 𝘐, as a man, can.
These progressives, with their unbelievably regressive ideology, want any man to be able to decide what a woman is, and they want all biological women to go along with it.
“Orwellian” is an overused description, but this is exactly what it is. You’re being urged not to believe what you know to be true.

Correct.
Puberty is not just about growing breasts, testes, and pubic hair.
It's also about the development of higher-level, 'meta-cognitive' skills, (executive functions), ie the capacity to think about one's thinking.
Everyone running the trial @KingsCollegeLon knows this.
They also know they are pulling the rug out from children.
They know they are stunting and derailing not only the development of children's bodies, but also of their brains and minds.
They just don't give a toss.

Olivia Bailey MP claims the #ConversionPracticesBill includes specific thresholds regarding abusive practices.
Has she read the Draft Bill?
There is no clear definition of ‘abusive’ leaving ‘specific thresholds’ based on subjective feelings not objective facts.

This is not the Woman of the Day post but one of the many reasons why Annie Kenney, born OTD 1879 in Oldham, remains one of my all-time heroes is because she was a natural orator with quick and ready wit and knew exactly how to win over a hostile audience.
She said that the suffragettes “were taught never to lose our tempers; always to get the best of a joke, and to join in the laughter with the audience, even if the joke was against us. This training made most of the Suffragettes quick witted, good at repartee, and the speakers that an audience took a delight in listening to — even though they did not agree with them — were those able to make them laugh.”
Giving a speech in Somerset, Annie was constantly interrupted by "an elderly man [who] kept repeating the same statement every few minutes: 'if you were my wife I'd give you poison’.”
Tired of his heckling, she retorted "Yes, and if I were your wife I'd take it”.
The audience loved it.
It is because of Annie that the West Country had one of the most effective suffragette movements outside London. She took lodgings in Bristol in 1909 to set up and organise the West of England branches of the Women’s Social and Political Union so it’s time for a little reminder from her to us.
Delivering a speech standing on the steps of Weston-super-Mare town hall in 1909, while a male mob tried to silence her with jeers, stamping of feet and whistling, a defiant Annie said:
“All the opposition in the world will never put us down. If the meeting were ten times worse, we would come again, and we will come until we win everyone over.”

Women and girls must be named.
“A therapist working with a gender-distressed young person must be able to ask questions when the client is considering irreversible changes to a healthy body. Why do you want to change your body? When did this begin? What else was happening in your life? Could your distress have another explanation? Can we slow down? Have you tried less-invasive strategies?
That is not conversion therapy. It is conventional therapy.”
