Together, Nevada Move2Zero Program participants achieved another sustainability milestone! This month, on behalf of participating customers, Southwest Gas retired 105 carbon offset credits associated with 19,680 therms of natural gas usage. That’s the equivalent greenhouse gas emissions of approximately 265,165 miles driven by an average gasoline-powered passenger vehicle or the carbon sequestered by 1,722 tree seedlings nurtured for a decade.
