I have no office. No coworking membership. Some days, no cell signal.
And I've shipped more from this setup than I did from any open-plan, stand-up-at-9, Slack-all-day environment I've been part of.
The "always-on founder" is a performance more than a practice. Constant visibility is something you do when you're not sure the work speaks for itself. It fills the gap between the thing you've shipped and the thing you're trying to build next.
Going off-grid didn't slow me down. It made me honest about what was actually work versus what was activity that looked like work from the outside.
The founders I respect most are often the hardest to reach right before something ships. That's not a coincidence.

🚨 Anthropic just showed a 27-minute workshop on how to actually do prompts for Claude.
Taught by the people who built it.
Free. No registration. No paywall.
I've seen $300 courses that don't cover what they teach in the first 8 minutes.
Watch it and bookmark it now.

Day 1 laid off from @blocks checking in!
Sharing some super high level thoughts. Was a shocking day yesterday no doubt, but as the evening went on, I was honestly just overwhelmed with excitement.
I’ve been given the most incredible gift—time. Time to explore and build my ideas.
Going to share my journey here, so hope you’ll follow along!

My new favorite tmux dev layout features @opencode (with Kimi K2.5 running on @FireworksAI_HQ) on top and Claude Code on the bottom. I start almost all agent tasks with Kimi (so fast!), then ask Claude if I need a second opinion/more advanced stuff. Great combo!

We're about to diagnose a new condition: ASLA.
AI Session Limit Anxiety.
It sounds trivial. But probably isn't.
Here's what's actually happening in your brain, and what it reveals about us. 🧵

Coding has changed... I need to wire up my hot-keys that control handy.computer/ to pause spotify, or mute my system, so I can talk to my assistants.
Highly recommend Handy thou. Runs entirely local, no need to pay wisperflow. Thanks for building this @cj_pais
