Can we send the skipper instead and keep Ernie around.
🚨Understand the prospect of Ernie Weaver leaving Sheffield Wednesday on loan has edged closer Forest Green believed to be front-runners as Owls look to secure Weaver regular senior minutes at important stage of development. More detail here👇 thestar.co.uk/sport/football… #SWFC🦉

Sentiment has been misplaced. We have kept players nowhere near good enough. It should have focussed behind the scenes.
No intention of inviting wider debate here for obvious reasons but with the benefit of some insight over 7+ years covering SWFC, my two pence on senior background figures leaving the club amid continued change behind the scenes.. Good, ordinary people had to work under extraordinary circumstances for a long time. Nobody is ever perfect but the fact is that for many years that club ran in spite of its owner’s methods. That was largely down to an under-resourced and undervalued group of people - not least in times they had to deal with the stresses of not being paid on time, zero communication from above in times of crisis and so on. Efforts were made by all sorts of people to change the approach of Chansiri’s SWFC on all sorts of topics. As we all know, he was impossible to deal with. Two people in particular were placed in the firing line at the infamous fan forums, which were always laid on at the motivation of Chansiri alone and were unedifying for all involved. It’s been telling to me in the social media responses to these departures that, broadly speaking, those that knew or had dealings with them directly have reacted kindly. The caricature set-up seen in glimpses at forums are absolutely not a true reflection of the efforts put into the club over many years. Speaking on a personal level, I know they are good people who have and will continue to care deeply for Sheffield Wednesday Football Club. The restart of SWFC was always likely to see changes as the club heads in a different direction and the accounts I’ve had suggest these exits have been handled professionally and amicably. #SWFC🦉

do people really want us promoted this season and then spend a year battling the restrictions but this time in the Championship? There is a real risk post restrictions we would be back in League 1 🥴 #swfc

Defenders that can defend would be a great help.
Wednesday need a couple more ball carriers and a striker with real pace. I don't know if there's budget for players to come in. But I think we need a 9, a real athletic CM that can carry, a carrying pacey winger and a covering left back.

As much as we would love to see this, not a prayer they are anywhere near relegation unless the arguing in the courts sees a sanction from the EFL.
Sheffield United are the most backed team, this week, to be relegated from the Championship with 25% of bets. ⚔️ #SUFC #Twitterblades

There is quite a bit of technology in that piece of plastic you know. 😀 #swfc

Contracts are fine. They are generally clear. I think be much better to legislate to prevent ‘deals’ being for new customers only. Biggest scam ever.
We’re changing the rules. When applying for a contract from the government there will now be one simple test: are you creating British jobs? And are you giving young people the skills they need for the future? These new rules will ensure the £90 billion that is spent each year through government contracts supports British jobs, skills and people in every postcode.

One of the early greats of grassroots football. Rest in peace Paul 💙🦉
Sheffield Wednesday are deeply saddened to learn of the passing of our former player Paul Bradshaw at the age of 72. Our thoughts and condolences are with Paul's family and friends at this very difficult time. Rest in peace 💙

Whoever convinced them to take him should be at the heart of any difficult negotiation anywhere in the world. How on earth can anyone sell the benefits of signing Ugbo? Owls must be paying a lot of his wages still. #swfc
Tell you what, he’s come out with some cracking lines the past few days 😂 #swfc

Should have shored things up at the back 🥴 #eng

What was good about this signing is how the first news of it broke about an hour before it was officially announced. All a bit better when it’s a bit of a surprise 👍 #swfc

I have always struggled to have a view that Kane is amazing. But that’s a stupid take from me, he scores goals and lots of them and quite rightly should be celebrated. Let’s see what we think of him when we don’t have him 🥴
This is such an atrocious take on one of England’s greatest ever players. Complete rubbish. 😡

Yes I am a little biased from past connections but from a Girls and Women’s perspective, this club leads the way on how to run a grassroots club. All self funded too. Let’s hope the new key holders can help put them on an even higher platform. @swfc @ShefWedLadies

With a head start I really hope your lot can show the way without doing anything too exciting of course. Happy for you to have a good season and just miss out….ideally via the playoffs 💙🦉
Exciting times for them lot obviously but as a whole is anybody else concerned for the future of Sheffield football that both Sheffield clubs are now owned by Americans? Could end very badly 🥴

The badge really is low down on the list of priorities to fix at the club. In a period where funds are limited a rebranding exercise whilst eventually welcomed doesn’t feel something to address immediately #swfc
Easiest decision in the world.

You know what one condition will be that he sets…….he wants a public thank you on the website, one last post. #swfc
Understand that confidence is growing that a Sheffield Wednesday takeover could be completed in time for the West Brom game... Talks with Chansiri's reps ongoing, progress also being made with the EFL. Not done, but all very positive. More: thewednesdayword.com/p/sheff… #SWFC 🦉⚽️

Or longer days in those 4 days, same outputs which in essence then means buildings can be closed and save money 👀🤷🏻‍♂️
No one employed by the tax payer should be working a 4 day week Unless they are part time and are paid accordingly
