This sucks because: • Poor people will struggle more • Abandonware continues to be deemed as a company's active property • Funding and time spent isn't going to operations that need more attention than this • Big companies continue seeing piracy as a boogeyman and people listen We can't speak for other companies on the matter, but piracy has done wonders for us. Those who didn't contribute financially have instead contributed by spreading the word about our games, which lead to actual purchases through word of mouth.
