Warner Bros gave one of the greatest filmmakers of all time the budget he needed to make the film he wanted. Everything else is completely irrelevant.
After a record breaking string of 7 movies opening to over $40M domestically, @warnerbros will have, this coming weekend, its first flop of the year since ‘Mickey 17’.
Having cost $130M, ‘One Battle After Another’ is tracking to open to only $19M-$25M this weekend domestically.
