"ESPN personality Pat McAfee released an album of original music on Friday. Critics say if the album is played backwards, the listener could hear hidden demonic messages. More worrying still, if the album is played forward, the listener could hear original music by Pat McAfee."

is Mike Lombardi knowledgeable about football? no. Is he likeable? No. Does he have any qualifications in the game outside of "knowing Bill Belichick"? Also no. But is he at least a good guy? Still no.

perception wise, LaMelo Ball is one of the most interesting cases ever where he has an abundance of aura moments and has amassed possibly the most aesthetically pleasing portfolio of passing and pull up shooting highlights in this era yet i've encountered so many people thinking he sucks, while it's the analytics heads who end up being the ones who defend him i think it's just people extrapolating and mapping LaMelo's supposedly unserious off-court personality onto his actual on-court profile. But what they end up criticizing isn't the actual LaMelo Ball, who, by all accounts, has been one of NBA's best offensive engines this decade; they end up criticizing a caricature of a player that they made up themselves
A huge thing about LaMelo vs other seemingly poor defenders is that he has a track record of outlier elite box score impact on that end If any other player had a 22 DREB/2.5 STL rate in their pre-draft szn, they’d be applauded till this day! From my 2001 Age Ranking Notes:

I really hate how when a team loses we relitigate everything. The Wolves gave up a bunch of picks for Rudy and he had a bad Game 6 against a better team. They traded KAT because of the CBA for Randle and he had a bad series. They made two WCFs and got to the second round, for a team that has been a historical joke since KG in 2004, TWENTY years ago. They built a good team, they couldn't get it to put it together. It doesn't mean it wasn't worth it.

Oh no, they'll never do that. That ship sailed a long time ago. It's much more fun to make fun of that one time he was left on a giant island against Luka freaking Doncic and gave up a game-winning three.
I would love to hear how everyone that thought the Gobert deal was the worst deal ever when it was made feels about it today.

For everyone that thinks only coaches and players should vote, welcome WR Cooper Kupp to the Hall of Fame. Surely you don't think you know more about history, statistics, and accolades than Coach MacDonald. 1 season of accolade ink. 2 seasons over 1k yards. 1 HOF career.
Mike MacDonald on @EWUFootball legend Cooper Kupp: “Cooper is a force multiplier. He is a stud of a person and stud of a teammate. This should cement him in the Hall of Fame.”

I know it’s been said a million times but it’s pretty funny how many short king steroid comedians with corny ass manchild tattoos called themselves free speech warriors right up until the moment free speech was actually under attack.

Keon Coleman watching this presser
Bills owner Terry Pegula just pinned the WR Keon Coleman pick on the coaching staff and said Brandon Beane was "being a team player" and that Coleman wasn't at the top of Beane's list. Wow.

I have a lot of issues with the trade for the #Cowboys. But one of the biggest is that NONE of their timelines ever match up. Why are you acquiring a 30-year-old DT when you just traded away your best player? They let a BUNCH of FAs walk over the last two years so they could save some "pie" for Micah. And then they didn't sign him.
